Also depends if you get points for return yards per player in your league. Yeah, I would agree with this. Harvin has more potential than Ward, and the other guys all have more potential than Ward. Ward will have like 5 good fantasy games all year for you, not worth a roster spot, imo. Ugh, I just had a small argument at work about whether or not Vick is good. "He scored four times yesterday, three through the air." "Against who? Jacksonville." "What about last week?" "Yeah, who'd he play last week?" "I don't remember." "Detroit!" "What's he supposed to do, lose?" "No, but the point is he's playing bad defenses." "I think he's better than a lot of quarterbacks... He's a dual threat, he can take off and run at any time and score a TD." "Yeah, that's true, but once his team is behind, he can't bring them back, because he can't throw the ball." Some other stuff was said "We've already seen his best, we know what he can do." "When was that?" "In Atlanta. Vick's career stats are something like 3100 total yards, 17 TD's, with 10 turnovers per year. That's below average." "I think he's good... [other guy] He's better than at least half the quaterbacks in the league... he's definitely no second stringer." Then they gave me shit for liking Jay Cutler, who is obviously a better QB than Vick. I threw in liking Manning and Brees for good measure, saying that I like good QB's. And I mean, I WANT Vick to do well, this season at least. He's on my fantasy team, and one of the few bright spots right now (Fucker scored 41 points in a loss for me... unreal)... I NEED him to do well.

It's looking more and more like the AFC East is a pretty good division again, but Pats look like #3, which is a little weird.

It looked great vs Cincy, but man... when Buffalo puts a 30 spot on you... you're doing something wrong. Idk that Miami is necessarily better though. Sporano still seems reluctant to air the ball out, even though Henne has a top 3 WR (imo), and seems to have the tools to do so. (Which irritates me, since I hated him so much in Michigan.)

FUCK YES god he was so, so terrible. doesn't help the line blows and smith is a bottom 1/3 qb, but fuck. literally every niner drive was: Run gore on 1st, hit wall due to shit line. 2nd, SURPRISE, WE"RE GOING DEEP! Forget Smith cant throw, forget to give him a short outlet. 3rd down. Now we need to go deep and everyone is prepared for it. Smith sees no options, checks down to Gore, overthrows him 50% of the time. 4th, Andy Lee pads his Pro Bowl resume. Raye had absolutely no idea of how to use the talent around him. It also doesn't help that we have a QB that is only effective in shotgun and a RB who is best used in a power game.

So, I have a friend who is the biggest fucking Packers homer I know. He was bashing Favre and I told him he won you a ring ect... and he responds: "this i know... and i loved him as much as a fan possibly could for 15 years... which only fuels my hatred of him, screwing us over, lying to the organization, joining with the enemy, the one team we said not to play for once we GAVE him his... nfl career back... the most bitter rival i know. and he jokes about it.. he vowed to beat green bay and never thanked the fans once. he chose to disrespect and millions of fans and turn his back on us. the VIKINGS! really, hate them so much and he used to as well. if you can't see why i hate him with everything i have then you're blind to his sick disloyalty and don't know what it's like to have true rivals. (i cheered for him when he played for jets, and he screwed them to.. i wish him nothing but failure the last two years, and lately he's doing pretty good at making that wish come true haha). i hate brett favre." Followed by haha yea.. no actually favre was retired and under contract with the packers. he either had to play for green bay or stay retired, but after years of putting up with his crap they brought him back and granted him a release they DID NOT have... to do that. they could have kept him under contract until he could no longer play, but they were nice enough to let him go play elsewhere.. under the SOLE condition that he not signs with the minnesota vikings. he then goes to the jets for one year, knowing all along he would screw them, dishonor his agreement with the packers and sign with the vikigns.. truly a sick move, when the packers gave him the oppurtunity to play again, he lies and turns his back and signs with the bitter rival, team he hated for 17 years, just to be a dick. upon going there every old packer player (from 90's) freeman, levens, winters, butler etc, all called him a traitor and hopes that he fails. isn't that sick though? a team as generous as green bay lets you go and play when they dont have to then you lie and backstab them in the WORST way... the man has no loyalty and no conscious and is an ego maniac.. ha, at least you're one of the ones who doesn't like him anymore too!!! but he's a freak, but that story doesn't get told on nfl network ever... It started with him bashing Farve and I told him Favre was his QB before he would even comprehend football. Then he said that shit and I said that doesn't sound like the whole truth just the bitter Packer side of it. Is there at all any truth to this jibberish? I mean, last week we got into an argument about Peyton vs Rodgers and it's like... jesus.

But yeah, that's fairly accurate... he did the whole I may retire bit for at least the last three years prior to the Jets thing. I remember, because I followed Rodgers a lot because I wanted the NINERS TO DRAFT THE PRO FUCKING READY QB FROM CALI. All the talk for years, prior to Favre getting real drama queen was, is Rodgers ever gonna get a meaningful snap as a Packer? The season he 'retired' he gave his crybaby speech and the Pack GM/league/someone I think didn't officially file the retirement papers, knowing that he was wishy washy as in the past few years. That's when the circus officially started. He denied wanting to come back, then 'he had an itch', then he showed at camp. Then he's trying to negotiate his trade/release, because the Pack GM basically said piss off, we altered our plans for the whole season already, Rodgers is starting. He felt he earned the right to pick his team, and got mad when the GM said 'I've got a team and job to take care of' They played nice, he vowed to not play for the Vikes, the GM said there was no fucking way he'd ever do that, and caved to his demands. In later interviews, after burning the Jets, he talked about how he wanted to stick it to the pack. Seriously it was the most egotistical shit I've seen in years in sports. Ah yes, set back your organization for years by either keeping an aging star and pissing away your future, or give away an aging star for nothing. WHAT A TERRIBLE ASSHOLE THAT GM IS.

It was him going to the Vikings that pissed me and almost all the other Packer fans off, hes the symbol of our franchise, one of the icons of Green Bay, and then he goes and joins the hated enemy? It is a slap in the face to the fans of the Packers, I can see where some would feel that the Organization wronged him, but the fans did not, and to go to the vikings is not just a slap to the organization but to the fans.
