Both fraudulent teams lost, nothing surprising here. At least I was hoping they wouldn't lose to Jets, that's insulting in its own way.
I really like both Steelers and Green Bay to win it all.
How are both #1 seeds "fraudulent teams?" I think a statement like that is best for a team like the Seahawks.

Agreed. What a dominant win by Chicago. I'm really happy for them. They were absolutely the better team out there and they deserve to be in the NFC championship game. Plus, the atmosphere in Soldier Field next week is going to be INSANE. I can't wait.
Were you there today? And are you going to be back next weekend? I'm hoping someone is selling tickets for a reasonable price. Weather be damned, that was an absolutely amazing experience today.

Nah I live on the east coast. Going to home games is pretty much out of the question.
From what I heard, tickets for next week's game were going for $8,000 each before this weekend. They will probably cost even more now.

The NFC Championship Game will be AWESOME though.
Agreed. I was pretty sad when the Ravens got knocked out. It meant there aren't any AFC teams I like left. The Steelers are dirty players (anyone who watched their game yesterday will know what I'm talking about), the Patriots are cheaters, and the Jets are just downright obnoxious. I think I'm rooting for the Jets to go to the Superbowl just because I think the NFC teams are more likely to beat them (both beat the Jets this year).

$540 is the cheapest ticket on stub hub. While I could absolutely swing it, and it'd be basically the same seat I had today... I'm not sure who I could get to go with me. I mean, how often does an opportunity like this come along? Chicago v GB for all the marbles in the NFC? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I like how Rex Ryan just played back against my colts, knowing that if he blitzed manning, he would get raped but for brady it was just straight blitzes to his a gap. Rex Ryan knows who the better qb is and i praise him for that.

I agree P. Manning is better than Brady but not that Rex Ryan's different approaches to handling each of their offenses is supportive of that opinion. I think it's much more a case of different offenses operating differently, and having different tendencies and different strengths and weaknesses. Football is too much of a team game (and a game of coaching) to try to make a connection like that. It seems way off base to imply that Rex Ryan thinks his plan against the Colts was how you ought to handle a QB of P. Manning's level and his plan against the Pats was how you ought to handle a QB of Brady's level, and that the differences in his plans clearly indicate that P. Manning is absolutely better than Brady. Brady is certainly capable of beating a defense that blitzes. There are variables like the coaching staff planning plays that get receivers open for a quick pass, and receivers actually getting open when they ought to, that are out of the control of the QB. P. Manning is of course a god at reading defenses, calling audibles when necessary, and really taking as much control as possible as a QB to shut down a blitzing defense, and I confidently say he's superior to Brady in that respect, but that's still only one aspect of playing the QB position. That alone does not make P. Manning better, but it's the only thing you address (and indirectly at that).
Most importantly, it doesn't say much for Rex Ryan (or his fans) that he gets praised for considering P. Manning better than Brady. What an accomplishment! Rex Ryan is a genius!

I always wonder why would someone pick an obnoxiously retarded post and write a long reply to it. There's so much logic in everything if you apply it after the fact, not pregame. Manning was so amazing this season with 17 interceptions, suddenly he is an absolute mastermind compared to Brady. Because why? Pats just lost in a horrible fashion to a team with no shot at a Superbowl. What was Brady like before this game? He was amazing, stunning performance, best year of his career.
It's just dumb to say that Jets were afraid of Manning more than Brady. They had to approach the games differently but not because Brady is incapable of putting on a clinic. Brady very well might be a superior QB, how many times has Manning lost in the first round of playoffs already? How many Superbowls has he won? This debate is so ridiculous when things get taken out of context. Half of the Patriots team were entirely different people compared to last year. It was shocking they went 14-2 with that supporting cast, but it is understandable why those young players crumbled in playoffs. It was a task for an MVP to go 14-2, but it wasn't just his fault for losing to Jets.
Also if we really want to dissect that tards' post how does it make sense to give the best passing quarterback more time? It only makes sense if you have great cornerbacks that can still cover. Regular approach would be the opposite - give no time to Manning. I just don't know how the fuck does game plan that includes not blitzing against Manning makes him a better QB in someones eyes. If they blitzed him non-stop and won it would be 'see he is so good they just had to blitz him continuously'.
I really don't think it was Brady's fault, but more b/c of their seemingly terrible D who could not stop Sanchez, who was probably the weakest QB left in the playoffs and is definitely the weakest one now in the final 4. The Pats D has suffered the most from last year to this year and it was definitely noticeable in how hard they made it for Brady to win it with those mediocre receivers. Branch however is a stud, it's pretty crazy how he was able to come back to that offense and pick up where he left off.
Ryan def deserves props though for his defensive schemes and knowing how to approach the games.
Tripgate 2.0! So apparently the Patriots really did do the same thing to the Jets earlier (down to someone trying to trip the gunner). I wonder how the league will react to this one.
