Agreed!
I'm excited for the Chargers this season. Hopefully Matthews can revive our dead running game. With a more varied offense I think we can accomplish more in the playoffs this year. As far as the possibility of a superbowl, I'd hope so, but I don't think it's likely until our defense sees some drastic improvement.
I saw a re-run of the Raiders @ Cowboys. Hoping to see Colt Brennan throw side armed. Sadly enough, he didn't get any play time and I doubt he makes the 53 with Boller showing up one nice drive.
It was nice seeing Nate Davis going to work in the preseason again.
he had some errors...... but overall he looked good....
his passing technique albeit bad still was effective..... he looks a lot like Byron Leftwich... except hes better out of the pocket... and the guy is a freaking bulldozer...

It's too much for something that I can get for free. No offense to TL people it's just I'm already in 2 other Fantasy football leagues, one being with RL friends, that are plenty fun and competitive. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy participating in a 3rd, in fact I brought it up 15 posts ago D: . It's just silly to me to pay for participation in a fantasy league, prize or not(assuming the buy-in isn't $10 for a $1,000 prize, but that's ridiculous and wouldn't happen. Just making a point).

Flacco is going to be incredible this year, so many weapons they can exploit, their weakness right now is their plague if injuries in their pass protection. Hopefully L Webb and F Washington r healthy by season start, and the new CBs can proove themself, looking to be an awesome year
I can't wait to see him suck again now that he has a legit WR, so people will stop dick riding the guy. He's a big arm that was blown up by the combine. He's not that good, and I cannot WAIT to see him with another mediocre season.

this guy seriously has the worst luck. this was the guy who had the weightlifting accident at USC where the bar landed on his neck and crushed his windpipe. they had to do some 12 hour surgery to repair it and he was obviously out for the rest of the season. he worked extremely diligently to recover his strength and although he wasn't drafted, he got picked up by the titans. now in his first game in the NFL where he was doing very well, he gets injured and has to be carted off the field.
Yeah, that's definitely too bad that it happened to him. What I saw of him in USC looked promising.

As a fellow Broncos fan, your fanboyism disgusts me. To elaborate on why... We already know what Tebow can do, and it isn't a whole lot, especially not at the pro level. He was a character pick, and an absolutely stupid one. Denver way overpaid for him (not just contract, but #25 overall), and they made another stupid-ass pick in the WR two picks before. McFuckface isn't a good coach, and won't bring Tebow along to reach his "full potential," which, personally, I don't think there's much potential there (by the way, neither do any of the 31 other teams that had absolutely no intentions of drafting the guy until later rounds. The Bills owner laughed at the idea that he was interested in Tebow at 26 or 27... or maybe early second round, I don't recall when their pick was). The Broncos have lost the cog of their defense (Dumervil) to what is essentially a season ending injury. They lost their DC because their coach is an ass pirate. They don't have a legit QB, and I'm pretty sure Ryan Clady is injured too. The only thing to be excited about the Broncos is the prospect of McDickwad getting canned at the end of the year after absolutely wrecking a team that was one or two defensive pieces from a legit playoff run.

The reason you have a buy-in is because without money people almost always stop playing once their team starts to slide a bit. There is absolutely NO incentive to research the FA wire when there's no chance of a payout for it. This happens 100% of the time in free leagues where people don't know each other, and I've yet to see one amongst friends (even competitive friends) where they don't give up because their team starts to suck. Hell, the bottom 3-4 teams in your league come week six will probably drop out too, unless the league is really close and a two game swing could mean first place.

I'd always be wary about rookie RBs :/ It's amazingly rare that a rookie RB accomplishes anything, especially if the team has decent depth. And sometimes even without, the rookie RB disappoints, so... yeah. In the past five years it's felt like drafting a rookie QB, it's probably not gonna pan out.

CJ, MJD, AP, Matt Forte, john stewart, ryan grant, joseph addai all had really good rookie seasons, and that's just in the last 3-4 years
the depth argument has more merit, but rookie runningbacks doing well really isn't that rare. if you were talking about wide receivers, you'd have a better point
For each one of them you'll find a Knowshon/LeSean/JJ Arrington/Mendenhall etc. whom all stepped into "favorable" situations and didn't really do anything. It's very risky.
