Here's a weird one: for my Week 1 game, I feel like I've got a decent edge, but I *don't* have a real good feel for how the Panthers will work this year. This matters because my 2RB is DeAngelo Williams - and my opponent's 2RB is Jonathan Stewart. Who's going to come out ahead here?

JStew gets RZ carries, DWill gets between the 20's. The problem lies in the fact that JStew steals more between the 20's than DWill does in the RZ. I think JStew comes out on top. (I hope that analysis is correct, because I have JStew.)

Last year I had both of them, with MJD as my 1RB, usually left JS in the flex spot. I know it worked decently, but never checked the stat breakdown too closely.
Does the fact it's a PPR league change anything?

Last year, DWill caught 11 more passes (29 to 11). It's hard to say with a guy that, I believe, is a more competent QB than Delhomme was. As far as I can tell, they're both pretty good receivers. Also, you have to take in to account that JStew played every game last year; DWill missed three, and was only 3 TD's behind him, and less than 50 yards. There's really not all that much difference between the two, imo. If one guy "wins," it won't be by a huge margin by any means, I don't think.

Stewart is the primary redzone guy but Dwill has a slight edge in overall carries. Dwill does get some redzone stuff though. It's really inside the 10 that Stewart really comes into play.

I was that way, but the two losses my guys suffered today does not make me hopeful for tomorrow's games. I'm very down on sports right now. : ( Maybe tomorrow will rejuvenate me.
