"I've tasted the caviar now, so eating out of the garbage is not where I want to be.'' -- Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, on the current quarterback-troubled, Kurt Warner-free days with the Cardinals, to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. run stopping wasnt any good either really. I really feel as if Vick will have the same problems he ran into earlier in his career as he continues to start. it's as if teams and coaches completely forgot how to deal with him because he had not started for so long and then came back. when he was younger, after teams got used to him, they put more of a clamp on the random scrambles and forced him to pass and he got in trouble. granted, he has gotten a tiny bit better at passing, and reid is doing an absolutely amazing job in maximizing his talents by calling the right plays at the right time, but he is still prone to some of the same shit he did as a kid. he misses relatively easy short and middle distance throws at times. the most worrisome is his Fave-like tendancy to just fucking whip it downfield at times—that is just bad decision making that is masked because Desean Jackson just damn fucking good at those deep balls. There was one that got swatted at the goalline out of Jackson's hands where Vick launched it into coverage with a guy in his face off of his back foot. he lucked out that it wasnt a pick (almost a TD because the shit coverage) but that was a terrible floater of a pass that was a jump ball more than anything.

The guy is just so wildly unlikable it's amazing. I mean, in Dallas it was a similar situation but most people just felt bad for Wade Phillips. For Childress, though, I think like most of the Vikes fans were praying for him to slip in the shower or something.

Vick is one of the most entertaining QBs of all time. Dog fighting was an old tradition amongst NFL players, I can't remember who but one of the veterans said that many many guys were taking part in this. It is cruel but for you to be completely blinded by some media-hyped hatred seems a bit weird. Unless you hate the eagles this much.

I think the best thing for his replacement to do would be to sit Farve's old dumbass down. Did you guys catch the video of that douche telling his o-coord to piss off

Well, I don't know where you heard he only provided the money, but Vick was directly involved in a lot of the goings-on at "Bad Newz Kennels". He traveled to many fights and admitted killing some of the dogs.

Haha i really don't think MANY NFL players personally strangled and drowned dogs. I live and breath Eagles and even i have a hard time accepting Vick.

Everyone on TV acts like he can do whatever he wants. I'd love to see the new coach tell him off, but I doubt that Farve will listen to some no-name interim coach.

He not only killed the animals, he drowned, electrocuted and did whatever else--it takes a special kind of piece of shit to do that. A shotgun to the head would be fucked, but at least that's quick. And that's not even touching on how amazingly retarded and cruel it is to pit two animals in a fight to the death against each other. I'd gladly cheer if someone Theismann'ed his leg. Scum like him shouldn't be allowed in the league. I could care less of many other idiots partake in that barbaric shit, it doesn't make it right. Enough about the off the field shit with him because that entire argument is redundant and no one is changing their beliefs about it at this point. As a player, I still think he's consistently been one of the most overhyped and overrated players ever in the game. Even this year, the hype machine is in full swing. Besides Indy and NY (the half game vs GB is a wash--you prepare the week before for Kolb and face Vick halfway through, you're gonna get boned) he has played teams that blow defensively. The monster game vs Wash last week is still ridiculous in that context, but all this shit about league MVP is crap; people buying into the retarded 'redemption story'. Is he playing lights out, way, way above his career averages?? Absolutely. But Phillip Rivers has having an absolutely ridiculous year. Brady too. And both have done it over more sustained time. Vick has only played five full games (six if you combine GB half and the game where he got hurt) vs 10 for those two.

He and Rodgers are my two favorite QBs to watch now I think. Rodgers a tad bit more, because he's also very deceptively smooth when he needs to move. And he passes every bit as good when he's flushed out as he is when he's got a perfect pocket.
