Last minute Int, I'm not sure how much that pressure affected his throw, definitely a little bit at least. Yeah damm. Bit of an anti-climatic ending to a great game. Brady got the better of Manning today in the end.

donald brown was running well too... should have just handed it off and let Vinateri do his thing.... stupid move by the colts
|
well I have a 6 point lead... with 2 players left Rivers and Tolbert... opposition is finished... so looks like I'm going to 8-3 and have my bye secured

PATRIOTS. Holy shit. I thought this was going to be the 4th comeback in the past 5 games by Peyton against them. But then the interception and to see what his dejected face looking down..could watch that a million times. Wow.

Every game ending with a Manning INT is a great game to me. Brady looked better than Manning for 50 minutes just like last year, then for some reason just shut down for the the Pats last three drives.
Great Pats/Colts game as always. I have come to expect no less from the two most dominant teams of the decade.

I'm up 117 v 104 with Nicks and Giants D vs Orton and Manningham. I'm really not too excited about the Giants vs the Philly Vicks, but hey, maybe this is the week where he starts turning it over.

Can we wait until next year for that, please? I need him to put up 37 ppg still.
I'm up 74-61. I have Vick remaining. He has Tynes, Tolbert, and Gates. While Tynes and Tolbert don't particularly worry me (I think Vick will cover their points), Gates can blow up at any time, and he worries me. Still, I think if Vick gets his usual 37 points (that's seriously what he averages in my league if you only count full games), I'll be fine. Had I played Steve Johnson over Dez Bryant this week, it'd be over already. Every week I have one player I say that about. This is getting ridiculous.
To an actual game... I couldn't believe Manning threw such an awful pass to end the game. I still can't quite figure out what happened on that play.

I am down by 13 points with Floyd and McCoy left. Think im good?

I don't care if he goes for 30+ as long as there are some sacks and INTs in there.

He said "no way" right into the camera. Loved it.

Currently 2-8, right? I'm going to be nice, but I still only get to 6-10.
vs PIT: L @ MIN: W vs CLE: W @ MIA: W vs NE: L @ NYJ: W, but only because I'm sick of the Jets. Any sane prediction says L.
And 8-8 won't make the playoffs anyway, since NE/NYJ are both 8-2 and BAL/PIT both 7-3.

Damn it. Greg Jennings decides to have a monster day right when I benched him. That may lose me the game.

Uhm, where have you been? Greg Jennings has been unbenchable the past few weeks (unless you have a crazy WR core consisting of Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Terrell Owens, etc.)

Seriously, that's what you get... he's been on fire.
Week 6 MIA Greg Jennings 86 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 133 yards receiving
Week 7 MIN Greg Jennings 14 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 74 yards receiving
Week 8 @NYJ Greg Jennings 81 yards receiving
Week 9 DAL Greg Jennings 8 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 80 yards receiving
Week 11 @MIN Greg Jennings 11 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 46 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 22 yd TD pass from Aaron Rodgers Greg Jennings 152 yards receiving
Why in the hell would you bench a guy that's had stats like that, unless you have the top 3 WR's in addition to him?
|
It'd be so nice if these guys could hang on to the passes that are hitting them in the chest.
That "overthrow" on DJack wasn't that badly overthrown. I think DJack lost sight of it, but he could have laid out and made a play on the ball. The one was somewhat off on the throw, and would have been a really tough catch, but you've GOT to make that one. Still, I'm not really mad on the DJack passes. Same goes for that Maclin drop near the end zone. That would have been an amazing catch.
What pissed me off was that easy TD pass to Avant. How do you not catch that one? There is just no excuse at all.
EDIT: Blah, turns out my opponent dropped Tynes and picked up Kaeding tomorrow night. I'm not too thrilled with that move. My only saving grace is that my opponent got stomped today, so he didn't gain a game on my division lead. If I can pull this off (hopefully Vick gets 20 or so in the second half) I'm basically one win away from my third straight playoff berth.
