QB: Brady, Cutler, RB: CJ, Moreno, Ricky, F Jackson, Moroney WR: Fitzgerald, sims-walker, collie, aromashodu, L. Robinson TE: Clark D: Eagles I guess i can't be that unhappy with brady cj clark and fitz, but the rest of the team is pretty crappy, especially my WRs. Even Fitz i don't know about now that Anderson is QB. I'm interested in seeing if aromashodu will do well this year, he had a great last few weeks last season.

I'd feel a lot better about this team if Derek Anderson wasn't Arionza's QB. I still don't really understand why the got rid of Leinart- I mean yeah sure, but when Derek Anderson is the alternative? Yikes...

When crap is also a whiny bitch, you get rid of it. Plus he's left handed which just fucks up the blocking schemes for the team. On September 07 2010 12:13 DannyJ wrote: I did my draft tonight. You grab tops of each position, and garbage backups. The only hope you have from #1 is that your first four or five picks will be SO good that they can carry players that score only seven or eight points per week. It looks like an okay team from #1 though. I'm so happy I dumped that pick.

Skins are trying to dump the fat piece of shit known as Albert Haynseworth. I was starting to come around on the guy after he stomped on the Cowboys' OLineman's face, thinking "maybe he really has changed his attitude. But given his recent behavior, any hopes of him turning into a decent human being have been wiped from my thought process. It's sad because he's a talented player, but it's even more sad because he's already been guaranteed $100M. Umpire rule changes have been changed further. Some may have seen the Colts get penalized for snapping the ball before the Umpire set. That's been changed, he now simply has to be further back than the deepest offensive player (i.e. the tailback); this is a change from having to be set fifteen yards behind the play, which leads to the next change. They'll stand 12 yds back, instead of 15. There are a couple more parameters that you'll need to click the link to read. Not surprisingly, the Colts don't like this rule. Neither do I. I understand that the ref needs to be protected--especially given the recent discoveries on brain trauma--and that he also needs to be in a position in where he can see what happens on the play, but this could have serious impact on a game, and it already has had serious impact on the Colts' preseason. The change hampers the hurry-up offense in a big way. What was once used in an effective fashion to keep teams off guard, and to catch opponents with more than the allowed number of players on the field, could be held back by a slow umpire. So now, the defense gets 2-3 seconds more to set their players (plenty of time, really), and the offense loses 2-3 seconds of extremely valuable time (especially in a two minute drill situation). To me, the only possible solution at this point is to get younger, more athletic Umpires... but then, who wants to be a referee if they're young and athletic? Maybe they can get some draft busts, or something. I hear refs get paid a decent wage. Maybe put a hockey style helmet with a visor on the umpire to protect his head a bit? I'm not sure what the eventual solution will be, but I really hope that this doesn't have a large impact on games. Refs screw the games up enough with bad calls, if they start screwing them up because they're old and feeble, and can't get far enough back before the team snaps the ball, well... I'm not really sure, but it'd be a travesty.

QB: Matt Ryan Matt Moore RB: Chris Johnson, Shonne Green, Jamal Charles, Dexter McCluster (RB/WR) WR: Larry Fitzgarald, Greg Jennings, Hakeem Nicks, Derrick Mason, Austin Colie TE: Tony Gonzalez, Dustin Keller K: Rob Bironas DEF: Vikings Matt Ryan was a let down for me last year, but that is what I was left with in the 5th round. Larry's stats go down with not having a competent QB, but they know to get him the ball, so hopefully that's enough. I really hope McCluster explodes onto the scene this year. I hear he'll be taking up a slot position for the Chiefs as well as running some other things out of the back field. Percy Harvin type. Green and Charles worry me about how much they'll probably not be seeing the ball in the red zone, but I still like the both of them.

I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, but I'd actually like to keep two separate threads running, one for fantasy, one for real football. The fantasy talk can get pretty in depth and take away from the real season very quickly. People that don't play would probably not want to read through all of that stuff, and the people looking for advice would have a harder time finding it.

Also, I just dropped Derrik Mason for Mike Williams. I was going to see if I could package Mason in a trade, but decided to pick up Williams in the hopes that he emerges as the Seahawks leading wideout and then I can leverage him with trades. Yeah, I think that's probably the best move to make. Fantasy wise, Mason is really feast or famine, maybe you'll get lucky and play him the one awesome week he has, but that's really unlikely. If nothing else, maybe you'll get a decent backup WR to play match ups with. Getting Shonn Greene and Jamaal Charles is a little surprising especially since it looks like you had the first pick... and then Fitz/Greg Jennings. As far as Leinart goes, I think I'd be a little jaded if I were him and they were going to start Derek Anderson over me, especially if I thought I was playing better. It's pretty much a vote of no confidence.

The team is really weak in the QB position though.
