wiki.worldoftanks.eu gamemodels3d.com http://worldoftanks.eu/encyclopedia/tanks/ http://tankersguide.com/ http://www.wotdb.info/ match-making battle tier spreads Every site has its own kind of bugs and gaps, or is sometimes offline. They are something like the manual. EU is down tomorrow for the update 7.0. The one after that (7.1) will bring the French tanks next year. They are quite extreme. Any other tips? Have a plan. Know the useful tanks. Know their match-making.

http://overlord-wot.blogspot.com/2011/12/preliminary-patch-notes-v71.html Really wish they would release new game modes already. Sucks that the M103 is delayed yet again.

P.S will be playing in EU There a lot of changes have been made since beta, but you should check latest patch notes (0.7.0). The next patch(0.7.1) will bring french tanks to the game. Patch should be live this year on russian server and next year on EU and US. BTW, the beta test of french tanks is available - all you need is a WOT client version 0.7.0 and an update from here. Oh, only ppl who registered before novermber 15th 2011 can participate in public test. The french tanks are quite cool. The lvl10 heavy tank max speed is 62km/h and has somekind of "machine gun" which is able to shoot 4 bullets in like 8 seconds and deal total of 1600-1800 dmg :D!, but the reload time is very long - about 40-50 seconds. The russian IS-7 is now imba after 0.7.0. If you planning to farm heavy tanks, i would say go for IS-7 first. The german Maus and E-100 have strongest armor, but they are slow. The american T30, will be moved to TD(tank destroeyrs) section soon. As for medium tanks - the soviet T-54 is fast and small - hard to hit, the german E-50 is a sniper (has a very accurate weapon), the american Patton is like a support tank - has longest vision range and best DPM(afaik), but no armor.

Here are lots of patch-notes, but not necessarily the full ones. Maybe the people on the non-eu-servers know more about the repurcussions of the new armour groups. Besides many small things (T-50 and Leopard have worse match-making, German gun-nerfs, etc.) and some big ones (user interface improved a lot), there is one really outstanding: the high explosive nerf. It does not penetrate any more anywhere in a sphere, which is centered around an impact-point. Rather there must be straight lines drawable between the impact point and the armour, which is going to be penetrated. That means, that HE shells penetrates not that often any more. That is a rough summary. Here is a better explanation. Again, US and RU players probably know already more about how effective he-ammo remains. Which tree to start? I would not plan with HE-oriented guns right now. Maybe you should go for snipers with high penetration values. Chaffee, PzIV and so on. The French tanks are somewhat unrealistic and extreme. In my opinion they made them far more extreme than necessary to introduce more dynamics to the game. Well, it will be fun to exploit their strengths, but it will make it even more arcade-like.

The things are like that: Without premium account: - Until level 7 you will get positive income of credits - level 8 and higher you will get negative income With premium account you will have slighty negative income only with level 10 or you can just buy a premium tank of level 8 (KV-5, Löwe, Type-59) and it will solve your coins problems ![]() If you don't want to buy premium acc, i recommend you to get some farm tank of level 5-6 (I was farming with KV-2 and artillery S-51, but then i bought Löwe :D!).

Takes longer to grind the xp though so that part is kinda annoying. But of course tier 8 is already a pretty damn nice tank so I won't complain too much about that. I don't really know how the tech trees for individual tanks look like now but if it's not like the old Panther2 when it was still tier9, it should be ok. that was the most fucking retarded thing EVER. i still have nightmares playing that tank without any upgrades
