![]() Keep getting sidetracked building giant crazy projects in the classic version of the game. Need to try more of Alpha. Yet, I feel compelled to build a giant Orbital Command out of blocks. Maybe some other starcraft 2 units also.

Valve in talks with Minecraft creator; Minecraft now at $50k/day revenue Citation : Minecraft creator Notch is flying to Bellevue now to have a meeting with Valve for an undisclosed purpose. http://twitter.com/xnotch/status/22454337130 Minecraft has exploded in popularity recently: Citation : Originally Posted by minecraft.net: 21292 players online, in 607 servers. 454482 registered users, of which 87222 (19.19%) have bought the game. At 10 euros per buyer, that's $50,000 in revenue in the last 24 hours alone and around $1 million overall, and the number of buyers per day is increasing. For an unpublished, alpha work-in-progress indie game designed and managed by one guy, that's obscene. Valve buyout? Minecraft on Steam? Well: Citation : Originally Posted by Notch: I would love to hire some people and set up a small development studio in Stockholm. My development speed has gone down lately because of all this crazy cool but scary stuff happening, but I promise you it will go up again soon, regardless of what happens. Curious to see what comes of this. Remember Narbacular Drop. Of course, Notch is well on his way towards being able to buy a rather large island at this rate, so circumstances will likely be very different here. Interesting.

It was instant for me, but I hear there have been some server issues recently with the number of people trying to buy the game that can cause some delays.

I really want them to add more monsters, a higher difficultly, bosses to accompany the dungeons they have. And a game mode where every night is increasingly harder to survive then the last, and have some online ladder to track how many nights a person survived for. But it is at the end of the day just a building game, and not the survival horror game I want it to become ![]()
