EPTpeople say bossruns were boring but i dont agree, killing a boss in inferno and getting 3 blues with -60 level is anticlimatic as hell. even though i never farmed up to 99 leveling for 5 vitality was a reason to grind monsters.

Thats why I´m sticking to act1 with 25% movespeed, high mf/gf and "only" 60k damage and leveling a Barb. But ye by the time I hit 60 on my Barb, they prob are nerfed along with crit damage gems on weapon. Because the crit damage gem is kinda mandatory for wizards right now and we know Blizzard doesnt like that. | ||

I cant kill elites in inferno because of retarded affixes and bad gear. I cant get better gear because i cant kill elites. I cant buy better gear because my gold is too low. I cant make more gold because nobody buys the shitty items i do pick up even when I sell ilvl 60 items for like 10k and repairing stuff is just rediculously expensive when you die as much as I do. I am also sick of farming act 3+4 hell and not getting anything useful. What am I doing wrong? | ||

Now you are doing Act 1 Inferno, which over time will give you good drops that you can sell for ridiculous amounts of gold. That should get the ball rolling. What class you play anyway? | ||

You didnt even tell us what class you play nor anything else, so kinda hard to say what your doing wrong. But most probably you are just not good at buying the right stuff at the AH. Because with the money you get while leveling to 60 you can normally buy all the stuff you need to do act1 without any problems. I spent 1 million on the mage I just leveled up and act 1 is a cakewalk with that. | ||

You should be able to farm Inferno act1 with very cheap gear that you can afford from playing through hell alone. There are probably some things in your playstyle and spec that you can improve upon. A close look at your gear and the stats that you need is probably a good idea too. | ||

Also, do some research and find out what actually does sell. For example, +gold find and +gold pickup radius is quite lucrative. A belt with +25% gold find and +6 yards to pickup actually can sell for 200K+, regardless of other stats, and you've probably been vendoring items with this all this time. Main stat and good +mf rolls have been selling really high too, and I know some people never even look twice at items with just those stats. And to what the other guys have been saying, you can make a bargain basement Act 1 runner for any class for less than a million, maybe even less than 500k. I cruised a monk right through Act 1 with ~500k gold worth of AH gear and one good lucky drop from Hell, so there should definitely not be an "inferno wall" for anyone, unless they just haven't done any informed searching. From Act 1 runs, you just get lucky once or twice, and you have enough money (~2 mil) to start building an Act 2 character. I went from dirt poor(ended Hell with ~500k, and complete crap for items) to now having 3.5 mil in the bank just from some good AH snipes and resells and about 10 full Act 1 runs with no MF gear. Currently about halfway through Act 2, and finding the higher ilvl drop percentage very nice. | ||

Yeah I just beat act 1 inferno with a WD fairly easy and that's without spending more than 20k on any item. (all my gear is bought). I did get pretty lucky with finding my weapon though. Even so you can easily get enough money to get decent enough items if you look hard enough. If you aren't as patient as me then you'll probably spend more money than that but it doesn't have to be a fortune. | ||

Usually this means active (defensive) abilities as opposed to percentage buff skills. Farm act 1 inferno. Whenever you have 500k gold upgrade a single piece of gear into a bargain medium-quaility item. | ||

If you think I need 2 mins to kill 3 packs in act1 with 60k dps, you havent been to act1 lately. Its more like 5 sec per pack. Also there are ilevel 62 items that are worth sth. Might wanna check the AH about that. So no the rates are NOT quadrupeld. | ||
