Intro cinematic : + Show Spoiler + Seriously though, good visuals but I dislike the starting cinematic just because Cain randomly has texts talking about what the Prime Evils will do. Also, building starts to shatter before meteor hits. Ah well, I'm not playing Diablo for a great story but it's pretty sad overall :D

If you buy the digital copy from blizzard you don't need a cd-key. But it's probably not the cheapest you can find.

I am still undecided whether or not to buy it, but if I will, I would like to buy it right around now since the price won't drop at least for another year and it's best to play this game with all the release hype. So, is there a co-op mode available? Will I be able to play through the game with a friend? Also, what's the replay value of this game compared to other games? Finally, how important is it for me to have played through the previous games? Thanks again guys!

You can play hardcore as well (permanent death). PvP will be released in a later patch. Dungeons are randomly generated.

Finally, how important is it for me to have played through the previous games? Thanks again guys! Co-op is encouraged, you can play 1-4 players. A game like this is supposed to have great replay value, it's sort of the design philosofy of having mulitple difficulty levels where you play through the game over and over again. If blizzard have succeeded with this is up in the air but I can tell you how many times I've played through diablo 1 and 2 and hopefully diablo 3 will fall into that category. I don't think it's massivly important to have played through the previous games. You might miss some of the inside stuff but the story haven't been a massive part of the previous games imo. You can probably find 5 minute youtube videos that summirize the previous events nicely. Basically it's killing diablo and his fellow demons that are threatening the world. Go and kill stuff.

Your level 1 DH will get 1-shotted by the first hungry torso you meet. edit: this is, of course, assuming you figured out how to import level 1 characters straight into nightmare So higher levels are only for max characters, You don't play out the game again from lvl 0 just with harder mobs? That's what I thought happens on higher difficulty levels. So you start with maxed out skills and all runes and just play the quest again but they are just harder ?

No you don't start at level 0 again when you enter the higher difficulties. You just go through the story again at a higher difficulty (mobs have more health, dmg, affixes you haven't seen before, etc).

You play in the harder difficulties with whatever lvl you are when you beat the previous difficulty. Starting a new character has to start all over again from normal.

Normal is lvl 1-30 then you move on to Nightmare. Nightmare is lvl 30-50 then hell. Hell is lvl 50-60 And at last, Inferno if you have the skill and gear

You can finish the story let's say on level 30ish and then what? You play again Act 1 and earn XP and level on Nightmare when you finish that on whatever level you are it's act1 on Hell? Please explain it to me like to a very very stupid person You play through the game on normal first, then when you beat the final boss(I'm assuming Diablo xD) and if you feel your character is strong enough, you start your next game in the nightmare difficulty. You play through the game again(Stronger monsters with better affixes/abilities.) beat the final boss again and rinse and repeat until you are in inferno and grinding dungeons for sick gear! hope that clears it up for you, I'm not the best at explaining though.
