Looking forward to hear about your experiences. I can't make it work. I mean it works but a good 7-8grift levels lower than marauders for me. Think my biggest problem ist failing to go forward to pull more stuff together.

Marauder, in theory, seems a lot better, but i lack one piece of the set

with sword of ill will + spines of seething hatred + aquilla cuirass / Visage of Gunes (depending on which you have) seems pretty good

So far my Shadow Mantle gets me to GR50 but my weapons arent exactly great and i still lack a few items like Visage of Gunes, zoey belt, leveling up gems (2 lvl 25 and working on the third), etc...

Highest I got was GR 65 on my demonhunter..but i have since given up. I had a full marauder/UH/Natalya set.. my Marauder was 3-4 ancients, my UH was All but 2 ancient, with ancient bow.

But spent over a week of using every single bloodshard/mats I could farm to go for an ancient Bow for the Maurauder Multishot build, but farmed 3 days without getting a single upgrade or sidegrade so I have since gone back to League.

Is there a legit GR65+ wizard build that involves using Black Hole+Archon? I really enjoyed this build back in Season 1 and 2.

I keep trying to google for builds but I always end up with firebird laser instead.

OK guys I finally managed to lick enough rift guardian boot for one of them to graciously drop a ramaldingdong's gift for me and while I don't HAVE to use it yet, I'd like some things clarified.

Do you think the ancient pig sticker is still the best for the 950 STR?

Also someone said hack is good with a 2 piece bonus but not 6? how is that possible?
Also now my runes are all above 50. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

I got my first ramaldingdong recently at around paragon 400. My plan is to reroll my BiS weapon until I get an ancient version of it (with non-crap rolls), or find an ancient one the old fashined way, and ramalbingbong that. Unless I find a second ramalpingpong before that.

The best one to gift/use by far is the pig sticker on the right because it rolled both LoH and CDR, all you need to do is roll the main dmg into attack speed. If you are using invoker's, you don't need your weapon to be ancient as weapon dmg does not matter.

From a bunch of test people did on mobs, Hack's damage does not stack with the 6pc bonus, it is also a much slower weapon with 1 less main stat, so there is no way for it to be as good as pig sticker.

Swiftmount for speedfarm, Doombringer for GR push. For LoN, the order of importance by slot:

LoN rings - obviously
Belt of the Trove
Heart of Iron/Aquila's Cuirass
Leoric's Crown
Hellfire Ammy - Lord commander, Indestructible, Iron Maiden, Finery, or Fervor
St. Andrew's Gage
Hexing Pants
Illusory Boots/Iceclimbers, having used both, Illusory is IMO the BiS. The build relies on grouping mobs together, then run around the group without getting trapped inside.
Doombringer/Swiftmount
Nemesis Bracers
Lidless Wall/Final Witness
Any ancient shoulder

You should farm/gamble in this order. I would not attempt the build without 1-4 to begin with. Again, ancient any leg > non ancient version of the BiS leg.

Currently using the multishot build that everyone seems to be doing. Tried the Impale set but didn't like it much. Gonna try Marauders I think. I'm mostly gonna group. What are the weapon+skill options for Marauders that are viable? I see most people seem to be using Manticore, but might take me a month to get an ancient one.

Edit: Paragon 502 atm, doing quick GR65 runs in group mostly.

You want Phys% and CDR where you can get it, otherwise just get STR/VIT/AR. On higher rifts survival is equally as important as dealing dmg. Ideally you should have something like 1200 AR without diamonds in your gear and close to 1m HP.

Grats, btw something I feel you might be misunderstanding is the Pig Sticker with 9% damage. The 9% damage affix on weapons only means the weapon damage is buffed by 9%. So it does nothing if you aren't using abilities that scale off weapon damage.

It's not like Akarat's Champion that increases all damage by 30% regardless of what it scales off of.
