I miss playing quake an I have tried quakelive but I haven't liked the differences made to the game. Is there a way you Can you go back to the old settings and gameplay with "go pro"? Thanks in advance! | ||

For Duel, subs are almost mandatory for a good experience. Every single frequent dueler has one so they can pick maps to practice, and play 1 on 1 without having a bunch of strangers queued up to play after you lose / win. CTF is just pickups anyways, it's probably a good idea to get a sub, but other people can invite you into their server when you add on IRC. | ||

Good old times... Still have my CFG on mailbox xD Also, Clan Arena was always fun to play with its extremal speed. I think this is the only game, which could be compared to SC2 in terms of skill cap. It is soooo huge! Btw i dislike QL move to Steam and detailed statistics deletion, but anyway it is nice, that 1999-year-born game live for so long! | ||

In FFA servers you can choose loadouts (you spawn with guns of your choice) and there are visible item timers so you can see when the armors and powerups spawn. Majority of the servers have these things disabled tho. | ||
