They really should fix warping and over-crowded servers. It's so stupid to play with 18 people on a small map.

I'm not an expert in QL though, so I don't what else is broken.

Yeah there are some pretty stupid restrictions/settings. However, most of the time you can be pretty sure these are there to force you into buying the pro account. I'm not sure how many people actually have it and thus, if it's worthy. I wouldn't go pro just to play over and over again the same 10 people that are above my skill anyway.

Yep, server overcrowding is a massive problem as it detracts from the resource-gathering strategy of the game. My only real qualm with it.

i tried to learn the proper circle jump for a while, but i just succeeded twice on that practice map. in like 300 tries.. so i gave up and i play QL occasionally now. coming from warsow, where you don't need circle jumps since you got a dash forward button ^^

I play also but gonna be honest never played a scrim on quake before however i have played 1v1 i used to play with TKQ and also Powah from United5 way back in the day. So this would be very fun to maybe have a scrim.

Terrible ingame config.
Lagging stream the first give minutes.
Skype problems several times. Switching to jp when the game is still on.
The console gamers/MLG kicking 2gd out after a joke about their technical difficulties.

Quake Live needs help, but MLG is just the wrong people to do it. They have no clue about anything.

The games are great but the decisions made by MLG is laughable. *cheese from a can*

I think they had to cut to JP because his pc is the stream, so he had to alt+tab to skype.

Still though, not a good representation of Quake at all tonight.

I don't know why they've tried to schedule so much stuff for one night, a bo3 and bo5 in an hour? That's 50-80 minutes of game time alone not counting map/player changes, intro, overtimes, etc.

I refuse to watch Quake Live if they don't have a clean config (picmip, simple powerups, etc.)

Default settings look awful. I feel like punching myself in the face trying to watch this.

I only tuned in to watch QL cuz of 2gd, love that guy. Then he suddenly disappeared, so did I...

Edit: Also yah, thier settings was horrible. My eyes was almost bleeding -,-...

It makes me cringe that Halo(Don't hate it that much) and Black Ops are more popular than Quake.

Come on quake make a game with upgraded graphics it would be boss!

Proxity, there already is. Its called FTE-QW, an advanced QW engine that is far above anything Q3 is capable(has advanced particle effects, bump mapping, rt lightning, bloom). Unfortunately, the game itself is too hardcore for casuals so its application to esports is limited. It was used in dreamhack a few years ago too.

It doesnt help that Quake Live has terrible graphics either. And this is a real deal in the esports scene - they should consider QuakeWorld since that is the only id's quake game with a modern graphics engine.
