3 seconds now really? I believe it changed from 3 to 2 in patch 100. I don't read anything to suggest a change back to 3 seconds.
Also, 34 AD is worth 1411 gold using Long Sword prices or 1258 gold if using BF Sword prices. Sheen costs 1260 and you also get 25 AP and 250 Mana.

Okay it's 50 DPS, which is still asinine compared to, for instance, a BF Sword (only 50% more expensive) that has an upper limit of 125 DPS.
Sheen is a nice early-game item but that's it, and even then it's mostly relegated to Ezreal or Nidalee duty.

You weren't "in the game". You fed Twitch FB because you didn't watch the minimap OR allied chat, then flew into a rage after Shen came back to lane to babysit you. When we started winning fights, you continued raging and called us lucky, telling us to surrender at 25 because we already lost. Two aces later, you're STILL bitching at us for not warding (after we're placing wards and destroying them), while we're pushing down towers and ahead while you're sitting in lane farming.
Except now i'm ALSO a KSer, because I need to make sure we actually land the kills while we 4v5. Never mind that had you been in the fights, you'd have gotten as many kills as you wanted, or even if you just stopped typing for 30 seconds to even be in their vicinity. They get Baron while you complain simultaneously that we're not doing dragon and that they can baron, and you're the only one not there when they make their getaway because we don't want to engage 4v5. You spend the entire game post 25-minutes spamming /surrender and wandering around, continuing to tell us all the myriad things we're doing wrong.
Finally, Corki DCs and we lose 3v5, unable to fight back despite the superior teamfighting we had up until the point where you put me on ignore for talking back to you. Then again, I guess you're significantly better than everyone on TL, so maybe we should all just rage-afk when our team is winning. If only I took screenshots

That's a very compelling perspective, but that's not what I saw happening in that game. I don't think that I can get you to agree with me, so I will end it here.

wow, i just had the worst solo game ever...
i know solo normal is bad, but at level 20 i didn't really expect to see a vladimir (with a skin) go for starks and sword of the divine because "it lets me q faster and gives more health." oh, and there was the ashe who thought it helped her to get frozen mallet. got to love solo queue.

I'd actually like to hear your perspective of events, Exo. You seem utterly convinced that your reason to rage was justified. An experienced player can absolutely make up for a lack of jungle, even if they do give up first blood for absolutely no reason ("I thought Shen was coming, he said he was doing wolves"). To give up 3 minutes into the game and subject your entire team to your whining is pretty pathetic for someone who's "played a lot of games".

ah, i remember that thread. No i dont think that was it, i dont have a link, but there was a lot of buzz around here and in the lol forums about a more recent zileas post indicating the removal of flash and possibly the introduction of flash boots
edit: also, wtf, i swear to god every time i visit the wiki the formatting gets more and more messed up, and i check recent changes and nobody did anything to it.... wtf....

ya i always thought of sheen as more of a poking item
imo the main reason why people would build trin on heroes like corki is for the wide variety of stats its provides all in one slot. i certainly wouldn't rush it on an ad carry 
besides, corki's r doesn't apply phys damage like ez's mystic does right? even after the next patch, it'll just gain some bonus damage from his AD (or will it apply like mystic minus on-hit effects?)

In regards to boots i believe they said their biggest problem with them is they felt that it would actually digress game play becuase it is the only boots people would buy. Honestly if flash dindnt make abilites fizzle it wouldnt be 50% as bad as it is now, i do think jumping trhough walls is a bit cheesy and only incentavises this reckless diving overextending style of play whith no real fear of being killed.
Personally i hope they remove it and make it a unique thing to specific champions (Fiddle, ez, kass, ect).
I do want to see more use items that would at least bring the individual skill level up a bit, i realize its a moba 6 buttons and all, but the game really feels somewhat childish still compared to DOTA, im not begging for denying or more highground things as riot has clearley stated that this is not a pure DOTA clone with differnt heroes and graphics, however it still just feels like im playing sniper every game and my left click is wearing down

According to the leaked patch notes, yeah it'll scale with 20% of AD. No, it doesn't apply on-hit effects and it would be ridiculous if it did, you wouldn't ever be able to get away from a Corki.

Thats why in solo Q i'm not egoistic, don't complain and am only the one buying wards all the time. To have ward coverage enough to impact a game you just need 3 wards, 270 gold/5 minutes is not that bad of an investment if it allows you to heavily impact outcome of game.
Also usually if people see that you are warding the entire map for the 3./4. time they are VERY likely to listen to you when you ask them to group up etc etc.
If the map isn't covered by wards YOU are responsible for it, if you take this attitude of "not warding because noone wards" why should they not as well?.

Yea I've found that to be true also. It helps if you have a decent score anyways, but if you ward up the map for your team and appear in the lanes that they need help in, they are much much more likely to follow your lead.
