i've really only seen it used by people who arent used to laning (are bad) so they have to get the 3dblades. they delay your ie , they use up slots for wards and elixirs(forcing you to waste time popping elixir at fountain) and have a terrible resell price only person that really needs to stack dblades is twitch, i guess. | ||

I picked up the habit from Loco and Classick, even Xpecial grabbed 2 in a game I laned vs him as Swain. I think that 2nd one is pretty much non negotiable unless you get off to a fucking amazing start, the 3rd I can be swayed on. | ||

I only do 3 on Trist when I'm 1v1 with MF and I know that getting the kill on her while not dying is more important than farming a BF sword 500~ gold faster. One kill usually allows you to pay for it anyway and I'd rather be safer and delay my sword a bit earlier than die to her and let her roll over me for the rest of the game. Against everyone else I do 2 blades into IE depending on if I'm forced to bluepill before I have enough for BF sword and usually only if I think red elix + pots won't cut it. Obviously if you play against someone you're just way better than you can skip the blades and go straight damage but against competent players it's a lot harder to justify rushing straight IE unless you're just absolutely wrecking them in lane. | ||

Ashe/Trist/Kog all feel so much more vulnerable in action(even with Trist's jump, if your positioning isn't perfect it's not going to save you because while it covers ground, it actually covers it pretty slowly). Maybe I just suck in lane like you say, and in a vacuum there's an advantage to that faster BF sword, but gold doesn't always work in perfect intervals, and sitting around with boots+waiting for more money is fucking stupid, I'd rather delay IE and actually get stats for early team fights(I see dblade stacking as an early team fight strategy FAR MORE than for 'returning to lane and farming more'). | ||

Infinity edge kog maw is stronger if you can get crits down, which is luck, otherwise madred's kog maw is better. Madred's kog maw kills baron faster. | ||
