Ignite mastery makes achieving her passive easy, but 9 Flat AP Glyphs are an acceptable substitute if Teleport/Flash/Ghost are preferred. You only need Archmage's Savvy, but even that's unnecessary now that you can replace the once-standard AD Quint with an AP Quint and 3 AD Marks. I generally like CDR, but not on Akali. She's not limited by her cooldowns in team fights but by her energy and Shadow Dance charges (and ability to survive). It's not worthless, but its usefulness is questionable. Basically, when I think dubious masteries I'm thinking Greed, Perseverance, and to an extent Quickness and Intelligence. These are coming at the cost of Ardor, Veteran's Scars and Harden Skin. For jungling those aren't trivial choices. | ||

the entire point of her is to hang out in the very fringe of the fight and constantly bind/slow/nuke people. With super long range and short ass cooldowns she can put a lot of damage into the fight, especially with lich bane and what not. Her main problem is that she's squishy as fuck, even with her shield poop. And she does really bad against people that don't need to be near her to do damage, or stealth champs. Like teemo. Fucking teemo. Also karthus tends to be pretty strong as well, as does virtually anyone that can get near her. I get mobility boots on her instead of sorc boots for this reason-namely, that she doesn't need to be actively in the fight, she just needs to not get hit. | ||

Isn't the whole point of 1/14/15 on normal junglers that the 3% ms helps your jungling speed? | ||
