Go mpen if they have kog/mf+janna/nunu and you need the instagib, go triforce if your team has alistar/janna and no long stuns/strong cc. Full AD poppy sucks, don't even bother. | ||

but you need to start blue with olaf if you want to have any jungle speed. Q/W is preference for first skill at blue. i prefer W but i've heard people swear by Q. olaf loves cloth + 5 pot + health quints (but he also loves movespeed quints, it's a tricksy business those runes). if you have MS quints you definitely want at least 2 points in vet scars tho. once you've secured blue you want to get a level in Q. you throw Q as short as is possible to throw so that as soon as it hits its target, you pick it back up. with the CDR from blue and the mana regen, you'll be able to throw axes indefinitely at your feet (where the creeps are) with about a ~1sec cooldown between tosses. you'll regen your mana running between camps first four skill levels are W-Q-W-E, then max R>E>Q>W. E is maxed by level 9. this is olaf's "sweet spot" or "red line" during the game. with a 340 true damage nuke on a 3 second cooldown, olaf will destroy anyone level 7-11 in < 10 seconds. don't gank until level 4. red + level 1 axe = perma slow. use ghost from the bush, make sure your first Q hits them, hit with normal attack to slow, THEN E, then repeat until dead. don't be afraid to tower dive, you're resilient. just don't get crazy. fed olaf is best olaf, but late-game he's very item dependent. ps olaf wants boots of swiftness instead of mercs, he's one of the few champs who can get away with it (on account of R being the most | ||

I could easily see just stopping there tho, kus just those two items make ppl explode i've noticed this a lot with poppy too. either they get completely shut out of farm and are useless all game and it quickly becomes a 5v4 and is over at 25, OR poppy gets a couple kills early and just snowballs into a killing machine that takes 2-3 champs out of every fight and the game ends at 25. rigged champ is rigged | ||
