I don't bother with Chalice. Never found it worthwhile for its slot. Even with Galio's passive. Banshee's should provide you with a good manapool. Toss a Frozen Heart if need be. The -CDR, Armor, Mana will help most Galio's, which lean heavily on MR. Zhonya's before Abyssal, yes. Kinda in order, left to right. | ||

Whatever a tank builds, he shouldn't ever be the focus for a smart team. But there will be times, when you have to draw aggro and tank. In Galio's case, catching an entire team with his ulti will put a hurt on him, even if it is just a taunt. If anything, the other team may consider targeting him first after the ulti finishes since most of the time he's near half hp or less afterwards. GA is still a good buy on Galio both for passive reasoning and team fight logic. | ||
