Also hello Guinsoo's on that Kog. >_>

I'm guessing the Karthus invuln bug didn't effect EU servers? Haven't seen it myself yet and haven't seen anybody mention it

Not so much because of the level up bonus - I usually get it at level 16, Sapphire crystal maybe level 15 - but because of the increased mana pool. Or rather the lack of it. I even had a Janna with Soul Shroud on my team but it just wasn't enough. Our enemies were somewhat heavy on AD, at least the ones I cared about, so I opted for Atmas before Veil. I'm probably not going to do that again anytime soon.
What I have also been doing is - starting with DShield most of the time (no more Regrowth) - buying Mana Potions starting around level 9 (to compensate for the lack of Philo Stone)
Mana Potions are obviously more flexible than MP5 items, but I suck at using them while poking :p They are cheaper as a short term solution, and as soon as I hit level 16 I should have much less of a mana issue anyways. Just asking, but do you regularly get golem, and run mp/5 per lvl and the mp regen masteries? Blue on ashe with volley is just pure poking gayness.
MP5L seals and 4/4 Meditation. I need my glyphs for CDR, and because I max out CDR with just items/runes/masteries, I don't like taking blue. There always is someone who can use it for more than just the MP5. If I get it (from an enemyif possible ), I certainly don't have mana issues.

Ghostblade, Brutalizer, get Boots somewhere before here, Banshee's Veil. In rare circumstances like an incredibly fed caster who can just explode me immediately, I will get Veil after Ghostblade. But that's not really what I want to do.

So if I'm hearing this right you're getting both brutalizer and ghostblade on ashe before catalyst? I know the GB/B (learned a new acronym!) is good because of the cdr/pen but shouldn't catalyst go first for the staying power?

I think I started calling those two GB/B when I made the comparision between GB/B and IE. It's quite tedious to write out, and strong enough to deserve an acronym :p
I don't like delaying GB/B by 1325 gold. That's just 12 gold short of a Brutalizer. 1/3rd of the cost of my core offensive setup. I also don't need the mana that early on since I can only spam once I hit level 9 and get at least a Bruta for CDR. I already have trouble getting my build going before my teams fall apart... If I need more staying power than DShield + HP pots I usually just get 1-2 DBlades, which already hurts, but at least I get some additional damage as well.

i really, really don't think this kog change is going to make him better AT ALL seriously, kog is zero threat without red buff or at least 4 tanks to allow him to line up shots
if he builds tanky he's doing like 6% of your HP in true damage per shot, it's gonna take him 16 hits to kill 1 person (assuming he doesn't build damage/AP items). that's just like any other carry, only they can do it with frozen mallet/red buff so you can't get away.
if he builds attack speed/extra attack damage/extra AP he's doing like 10-12% of your HP per shot but still has no survivability, no escape mechanism, and an even more terrible passive. stun and done, hoss.
but then again i never got caught up in the OMG KOGMAW SO OP craze so who knows (granted, i've seen kogs single-handedly win games, but that's only after free-farming for 45 minutes). i've still yet to see a good AP kog which i always thought would be more threatening so whatdoiknow

16 hits to kill ANYONE from full HP at 2 attacks per second and huge range while not investing much into offense at all is pretty damn intimidating. No so much for a squishy because anyone can kill a squishy in 8 seconds, but what will a tank do? Build survivability? Futile!
If he gets 100% MPen and no on-hit effects, I would probably try something like getting a quick Stinger (pretty cheap if you ask me, and without on-hit effects Recurve doesn't build into anything useful), then survivability, then build a Nashor's and maybe some AP or just more defense.

Udyr: OP champion or the most OP champion?
|
Zanzabar Haberdasher: Awfully wrong or totally wrong?
|
That's not very constructive, mister. While their are some characters that directly counter him, I feel that most will find an Udyr with half a brain quite troublesome. I had never really considered his power level until I saw him run with bloodrazor/last whisper/tank/tank/tank/boots. He was cycling his attacks on my team, stunning pretty much all of us every few seconds. It was pretty hysterical, honestly.
|
You're just playing at a low level and running into an Udyr player who's simply a superior player. An Udyr with Razor is super squishy, and a Razor with BR and LW will die in like 2 seconds. The game should end before he ever gets to tanky crap because he dies so fast. On the other hand if he opened with tanky crap and then finished with BR LW (weird combo of items btw, esp LW cuz it doesn't actually work with any of his skills LOL) then he was obviously ridiculously ahead, at which point it's implied he was just better than your team for the first 40 minutes or so, hah.
|
How is that any more OP than Xin, who has a much higher damage output and can tank just as well as Udyr on the short run?
Rageblade Udyr is absolutely hilarious though. I should try Rageblade-Bloodrazor one day
Actually how does LW work with Q, apply it to total damage and then just divide damage up into 3 parts?
|
talk about xin, what is his primary stats to pump first? Attack speed? survival? or pure dmg items?
like, maybe a certain degree of attack speed before getting attack speed? pre-nerf when i played him when he first came out, u could just build anything anyway with any kind of trash runes and still rape faces with him...
