Currently I'm thinking 9 in offense and 21 in defense for masteries while getting armor pen, armor, and magic resist for runes. Not sure about quintessences though. Also for my item build I start off with boots + 3 health pots and then into boots of swiftness, sunfire cape, guardian angel, FoN as someone reccomended. Any advice? I run 0/21/9 on garen(4 in the xp then 1 in greed or something) and usually just run a standard tank rune set

You have Q and E, both make you move faster. Chances are, if you come out of the brush running with Q, they're going to eat a full E no matter what. No Flash, sup?

It's: Base ASpd + ASpd/lvl * lvl + bonuses from items/skills/runes/masteries So a Recurve Bow does not give you 40% more attack speed overall (and thus not 40% more DPS). I won't go into detail what is better under what circumstances, you can try it out on leaguecraft for example, or calculate it yourself.

That simply does not compute. Eh I am pretty sure there is. The more AD you have, the more efficient ASpd is, and vice versa. So at some point you will have so much AD that ASpd will be better. This is assuming that you are really only autoattacking. If you have skills that scale off AD then you might want to shift your focus towards AD. If you are Kog Maw, you want to get ASpd :p I just wanted to try out Boots+3 against MF (as Ashe), because Regrowth and DShield both don't make me happy. Wasn't expecting to do well, but who knows, maybe I would have been able to outposition her. Anivia was mid, I got an early kill on her because Boots+3 owns Anivia even though I messed up a bit and took like 300 damage at once. That was shortly after everyone but our jungler died, lol. We won anyways.

Same with HP needing Armor/MR. That's common knowledge. There's a reason why Loco and I were laughing at someone opening LW first without any damage items. Hurrah, you shoot fast, but do no dmg. /high five And Kog just needs Bloodrazor, Mallet and red buff and he wins games.

Since we've got a website now and I don't feel like working on my lab, I'm going to rewrite it. note: again, I'm not a better player than Brees, but his guide is old and I don't think he'd stand by it today. I've played around 100 games with Nasus and have a vague idea of what I'm doing - sometimes I even carry. I'm also undefeated in ranked (3-0!). Nasus, for the man with refined taste + Show Spoiler + Pre-game setup arpen / mp5 plvl / mp5 plvl* / movespeed 0/9/21 <- http://tinyurl.com/3ykcvcf ** cleanse / ghost *I've considered swapping out the mp5 blues for mres plvl, because you don't always need that much mana regen. I stick with a full mp5 setup because: one, you can't assume you'll have blue buff control, and two, you can buy ingame items to cover things like mres without setting yourself back. Buying mp5 is a waste. An oom Nasus is a useless Nasus. Movespeed quints are best quints. HP quints don't help much. **Not negotiable. Perseverance sucks, Dodge sucks. Trust me. Skills qweeer / r>e>q>w There's a bit of flexibility here. E wrecks lanes, but you don't want to push towers until you get your first 3 items. Use your head, if you don't think you'll need a 4th or 5th level of Spirit Fire soon, get a 2nd or 3rd point for Siphon Strike. Items Doran's Shield + Health Pot Heart of Gold*** Sheen Merc Treads Aegis**** Triforce Randuins ~whatever***** You want pure tank outside of Triforce. Nasus can be built DPS but it's simply an inferior setup. I can rack up the kills with nothing more than Sheen. ***No, Nasus doesn't need the gold from HoG. You get it first because gold is good, more gold is better, and Randuins is core. ****I've stopped buying GA since the nerf. Some people still use it, I don't think it's worthwhile spending 2600 gold to be revived at <25% health once every five minutes. HoG + Aegis feel much better for a similar price. Feel free to grab a Negatron anywhere after the Aegis, but I wouldn't upgrade it to a Banshees until after you've finished Randuins. Seriously - you want the Randuins. Farmed Q + Triforce proc + a touch of CDR = you're slamming your staff for 700+ every few seconds. Q is undodgeable btw. *****I never buy Frozen Mallet or Sunfire Cape. Ever. Frozen Mallet is expensive, you've already got 3 slows in W/Randuins/Triforce, and Nasus doesn't need that much HP. E/R/other items more than cover whatever Sunfire would give you. General Gameplay You want to solo top. There isn't a single 1v1 matchup you will lose (if you know how to lane); you can handle most 1v2's with ease. AFK farm until you get HoG+Sheen+Merc. Grab blue buff and push down towers like they're made of cardboard. Nasus can solo dragon at any point after he gets Sheen. Teamfights are as easy as ABC: Wither their DPS, drop a Spirit Fire, pop your ult, and QQQQQQQ until you've aced them. Your ult also serves for taking a fast baron. this guide is current as of whatever patch Sona dropped on. 1.0.101 or something. I must say thank you! I always struggled with Nasus and was following dps guides and such and then I gave yours a try. You have made Nasus crazy fun for me lol. Some pics of my glories with Nasus. + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]()

Dunno how it is if you lane with Janna or Pirate and consider the AD boost.

Attack speed is still better than damage for Sion's first item. I think this is true even if you open sheen and get attack speed 2nd, but I'm too busy to mathcraft right now.
