I also think Phoenix is poor character design on Capcom's part. Getting 5 bars of super should never be an auto-win. Capcom nerfed Sentinel yet left Phoenix alone /facepalm.

I didn't say sentinel should be the 3rd character, he's great on point, 2nd OR third though, but in xfactor he's way scarier than dark phoenix in my opinion. x fac sent by himself won't really take chip and can fuck you up in one extremely easy to pull off combo. I'll give that Sentinel fits into many more teams and adds more than Phoenix to most teams. But I think Phoenix is able to stand at the same tier as many characters if not better. I feel like if you have 3 characters left against phonenix with 5 bars + level 3 on deck, you need to kill phoenix and xfactor right away
when your first character dies to level 3 dark phoenix, when your 2nd char jumps in, you won't die to chip (like what justin did in the first game)
that way, your 2nd char can land at least (without dying to chip) and hope to block the teleport mix up, and then just mash a button and hope to land a combo
if not, you won't even land half the time and you can't activate xfactor before all your characters die

Clocks phoenix...ugh, wong doesn't have enough practice with this team to snap out phoenix and kill her like he does every other week against clock
I THINK Justin's so far ahead in points (won every other week) that it doesn't matter that he lost here, he must still have enough points to win I guess, since Floe is out earlier than he was. Gotta be the case right?

God damn. 2 games in a row. Clockwerk's phoenix kills 1v3 full health two games in a row.
Just one thing though. Why is he using ammy/doom when there are better battery characters out there like wesker?

Ammy is an AMAZING battery who is incredibly difficult to hit. Wesker is not necessarily a better character. Doom is a throwback from his mvc2 team IMO; hidden missiles are a bit of a crutch. On top of that, both Ammy and Doom assists build up meter very well and Doom saves Phoenix. Personally, I'm not too fond of Clockwork's team as it's a lot more tier whore IMO than his MvC2 days. But then again, I play Storm, Sentinel, Phoenix so I'm not much better X_X.
