other way around, we got raped @ dragon (obviously) as well as the ganking. then we did a teamfight finally and aced them 2 consecutive times lol. after that it was game over with how many creeps I had plus 2 avarice blades.

I only had like 3 kills but his ridiculous farming ability + the blades just gave me so much cash

I had like frozenheart/GA/sheen/merc treads/almost banshee at lvl 15 pretty ridiculous

Surprising about the gank stage, but yeah, Zil + Kayle automatically gives any team a ridiculous advantage in team fights, and if you have two carries that can be protected by them, aiee. I mean I love playing Zil with Yi. You have to kill Yi twice! And he always has a speed boost! You don't think Yi's already overpowered with one life? :p

just played an epic back and forth hour long game.

played ryze, 20/6/17?

We had a slight advantage early game, hero wise, all turrets stay up. Midgame they jungle to make up for it and we trade towers. Late game we're all geared up, teamfight brings my team back to our base, they get a super minion inhib. We turtle to items, they jungle, we win a teamfight in our base, push and kill three inhibs, defend a counter push after that, and push again to win.

Seriously, I would've been so disappointed if we lost, crazy game.

Ah, yeah, that's my favourite type of game!

I love those epic, long struggles to break stalemates, or to defend against strong team pushes and positioning battles. And, often, you see a lot of people actually start to really step up their game after 10 mins of stalemate and really start pulling their weight.

I'm sure I've played a few games like that with a few from here.

Or sometimes you see games like the one I played this morning, where I went 17-6-10 with Karthus, their Yi went 22-8-8, and our kickass Yi went 5-8-8 and had the balls to say we can't complain about him 'cause he's the only hero that can kill their whole team "when properly feed."

He laned against their Yi, and their Yi was fed like hell. Properly feed alright.

Ever since I started playing Warwick again we've been doing this awesome strat where top and mid solo--usually Ashe mid and a caster carry like Karthus top--and bottom lane goes AP Nunu/Support Alistar while I jungle, starting with the golem. Take smite/rally and max out attack masteries and voila, instant midgame gankmaster team. Have one person from bottom lane protect you while you dragon every time it's up, and at level 6 go help top or bottom gank.

Here's a nice Warwick build if you wanna try Jungling while he's a free char:
Cloth armor
2x pots

Jungle your entire side starting with the golem and ending with the lizard, then bluepill to finish razors. Because razors don't stack anymore you don't want another unless you're going bloodrazors first, which isn't a bad idea against a team of two or more tanks. Your second and third items should be scepter and berserker's greaves, get them at the same time. After this jungle til 6 and start ganking. In between ganks, dragons, and clearing jungle, get a last whisper. When you start teamfighting disable someone who doesn't have cleanse or their most important player while your team takes him down. Drop rally if it's up, you don't need it to take dragon or lizard anymore. Finish out your scepter as a bloodthirster or an executioner's calling. You should be around level 15 now, have your team help you take baron, then push mid.

For a caster his DPS is insane. Even without AP items you get 100 damage per second from Defile + another 100-ish from Lay Waste. And after you die you output the same thing in the area for 10 seconds, and you can cast your ult without being interrupted. avarice blades almost seem overpowered when coupled together with crit damage runes. ive been running gangplank/nasus mostly and im like 30-5 solo queueing ever since i started doing it, both these chars just farm so easily and have ults that can stall games. then all of a sudden 30 mins in you just have retarded items even without kills.

Gone back to playing Katarina, but I do hope Furor's proposed fix for her gets implemented, or at least gets a long, hard look by Riot.

(for those that don't know, he wants everything about it to be halved, so 2.5 duration and 30 sec cooldown, which makes it mesh better with her passive, while also making it not so useless against decent teams)
