I don't think anyone underestimates Blitz - it's fairly common knowledge that getting caught by Blitz = death. o_O

My friend pretty much only plays Blitz (The Baconman!) and with armor pen/magic pen runes and a 1v2 lane (we try to work our team around to give him a solo vs 2 lane) he can four-five shot almost everyone, and just keeps rolling like that into late-game with Trin -> IE/Cleaver, it's pretty rad.

When Baconman lanes against dual lane and there's a Sivir, he just waits until level 6, overdrive -> punch -> ult -> hook = dead. Can't shield against that!

I think the only things that stop him when he goes for a kill like that are Teemo and Exhaust.

Kind of confused why they would do the following:

The Elder Lizard and Ancient Golem (Sigil-holding) monster camps now spawn at 1:55 on the Summer and Winter versions of Summoner’s Rift
The Dragon monster camp now spawns at 2:30 on the Summer and Winter versions of Summoner’s Rift

Granted early game is usually a rush from lizard -> dragon but ... why do this? ):

to avoid level 1 gank parties. usually some teams has a good advantage in these fights. also because the bottom tank has their lizard closer to dragon while the top has golem.

Although yea I guess the fact that bottom lane has their lizard closer to dragon. but then it'd make sense just to move lizard/golem camp spawn time back and not dragon. :\

Level 1 gank parties are fun and all but certain teams are inherently less likely to win them, which limits viable hero choices :p

Man I hope this Twitch nerf is enough (I doubt it), I'm sick of owning Twitch for 30 minutes and finding out Twitch with one item (Black Cleaver) is strong enough to Ace anyways, it's retarded and takes no skill whatsoever.

I don't like the jungle changes though, although as primarily a solo-mid player I guess I can be happy knowing I won't have to worry as much about double/triple lizard-buff ganks anymore? :/

jungle change was necessary to prevent characters like corki/twitch frrom having lizard from the get-go. now they have to wait if they want it and will be one level lower.

btw has anyone ever seen the abuse you can pull off with gangplank? @ lvl 1 I have started getting raise morale when I solo mid. You pick off a creep and they get no gold/exp from it lol its like denying so stupid. I keep picking off the big creep and when im level 6 they just turn level 5 it makes a huge difference

I prefer using my mana on gold (parrley), but I guess that might be more worth it? Dunno, unless your build lets you use both spells often.

I run an avarice blade build so I dont need the gold from parley, I just start brawler gloves + health pot + mana pot and raise morale cost next to no mana. I just never use parrley and play conservative. its easy to get last hits with his auto attack due to the poison

I tend to find myself being harassed/ganked out of the lane if I play most melee heroes solo-mid *shrugs* Usually end up needing to use Parrley to ranged last-hit creep, so it's a matter of whether you find it more effective to get hit and last-hit creep with attacks or not, I guess. The only consistent exception to the melee-at-mid rule from my experience is Cho'Gath, because unless they're Sivirs (that level up spellshield ASAP) you can nuke them down pretty fast.

Granted the ability of ranged heroes to push you out goes a bit down because they can't show up with Lizard rune every single time now, but I find that it still tends to suck.

Oh I guess you can solo mid alright with Udyr too, just because he DOESN'T TAKE ANY DAMAGE but *coughs* that's just 'cause he's lame.

Just my personal experience though? That's why I've always been forced to Parrley with GP solo mid... and why I was surprised you had the mana to use RM. On a related note I end up opening Chalice with GP for faster Parr+Cannon spam as well, I dunno. Weird.

I actually run an ultra-normal build of Chalice -> Double Avarice -> IE, Zerker Greaves somewhere in between depending on how fast I need movement etc., followed by Bloodthirster then GA. So I'm kinda lacking in creativity in that department, hahah. Might just be staring at a playstyle difference.
