That dude was terrible. He kept on just wandering out by himself and trying to slow-push lanes all the way. What was his final score? 0/12/2 or something like that? I'm surprised we won too.
I have to say though, I am really enjoying playing as Twisted Fate right now.

i play chogath like mentioned in previous posts. after u start playing chogath its really hard to go to another character cuz u reach lvl 18 so fast. i reach lvl 18 every game by at the latest the 25 min mark. i go mejais soulstealer first becuz its pretty cheap and i get alot of kills really early so i can max it out really fast for the +140 total ability power. replacing it later for rod of ages is probably better for the health + mana.
i always get these items in this order: mejai's, the recommended boots (+3 ones), banshees veil, warmogs, then i kinda just try other items out becuz by then we've either won or we've alrdy lost. also, i'm not pro at what items are best so i just try things out to see how well they work.
one of these days i'm gonna just go boots/guardians angel/ banshee's veil/3 warmogs armor. that'll be a fun day to watch the clowns cry about 10k health and that i keep coming back to life with 40% life rofl

Just went on a 3-game dominating streak with SouthLight. Was amazing ahaha. The warwick on our team in the 2nd game was on the opposite team in the 3rd game so we knew he was gonna do lizard first so we got a first blood right when creeps spawned. Was beautiful ^^
|
LMAO, TP and I were playing a few games, in our second game we teamed with this warwick, who did okay. And we won. No problem no problem.
The very next game this time we played AGAINST him, but both of us remembered his exact pattern.
So there he is, standing in front of lizard, with a teammate annie, and we're all hiding in the bushes next to him.
"Sup"
And then I rubbed it in more by warding up the whole map (also Clairvoyance!). I felt like the terran player I am

im really liking master yi over warwick. on a 5 game winning streak with solo queue.

Oh also if I'm with a premade I like to have 4 of us take smite and go dragon off the bat. Have two people with teleport go to the far lane, one solo mid, and two bot and boom, level 2 in one wave plus tower gold for the team.
|
You don't really neeed 4 smites to take down dragon unless you want to like insta-kill it ahha
|
i think with like 1-2 smites, the first wave is pretty much almost done by the time u can finish the dragon and get there. I might be wrong though.
|
Problem is, if you're stacking 4 smites, you're liable to get ganked at the Dragon, as a clever team will know you're going there. They'll probably assume that you're going to rush Baron at level 8-9, unless they see you doing normal builds.

no not really. with 1-2 smites, dragon goes down pretty quick. you'll be there in time for the first wave.

Every team should have at least 1-2 rallies. To take dragon or both buffs in the beginning is a huge advantage.

i wish i could find my friends Cho'Gath build, ridic max AP build and he could eat people with 1k hp, and would usually be 18 by about 20mins or so with like 3-4k hp, always went like 20-0 shit was ridiculous

I've played CM since like the beginning, and I find that I like the DPS version of him better than the AP version. I just feel like late game AP CM seems so useless because people end up nerfing your wild cards with magic resist, and you're sitting around waiting for a gold card to pop up or waiting for your wild cards on cooldown while being your squishy self.
|
My last 15 games or so have been AP Twisted Fate. I also add in some cooldown reduction. I find that wildcard AP builds actually work quite well because of the huge range and you can throw through objects. You can gate incredibly often so you can push all three lanes yourself if you need to. The huge range of the wildcards and the fact that you can gate out of any situation easily (even faster with ult and you can see ganks coming) compensates for the lower hp.
I'm not a pro by any means but that's my take on it.
Edit: Ambiguity. Edit2: Oh, and I have a question as well. Does wildcard count as an multi-target spell? I tried out Rylai's staff (or whatever it's called, the one that slows on spell hit) and I didn't notice a big difference. I think it's because wildcard counts as a multitarget spell and only slows 15% instead of 40% (or whatever the numbers are).

Yea, I know what you mean. Wild Cards is great for farming, great for pushing a lane, great for early small battles. You get into the larger 5v5 battles, and then you're basically always cooldown limited by your wild cards, or your gold-card (plus the half second delay when you use it -_-). I haven't played AP CM in awhile, and before it was probably more only in the mid-ELOs, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but here's my take on AP CM.
You dominate early game. It's so easy to farm with wild cards, and there are a lot of ganking opportunities with gold card + ult + gate. Because of this, you build up a lot of money.... but what is there to spend the money on? I think they've continuously been nerfing the AP bonus for wild cards, so assuming it's late game and you've got massive cooldown reductions, you're still stuck at doing like ~350 damage per 2-3 seconds. You also basically can't attack normally during large battles because if you're gold-carding, it interrupts your attack, reducing your role to wild-carding, periodically gold-carding, both which don't do much damage, and maybe providing item buffs to your team. I remember that if the game got past like 35 minutes, I felt like such a useless character.
In contrast, DPS CM can do pretty much all the same things as AP CM early game, but also things like jungling, and then late game, you're the carry as well. So late game 5v5, in addition to being able to come into a battle with gold-card loaded, and firing wild cards periodically, you'd be delivering like (in my build at least), a 60+% crit at 1.5 attacks/sec.

I don't play Twisted Fate, but speaking from having played other AP characters, you can rectify that with Sorc Boots and Void Staff :p

Before last patch all you had was Abyssal scepter in terms of items. It was pretty shitty really.
A good point that was made to me recently about building champions that were intended to be DPS, as AP is that killing towers and neutrals is a big part of this game and going AP slows that down. Not really sure what I make of it, but the diversity in LoL that you can even attempt to build a character totally differently is one huge advantage over similar games in my opinion.
After my crappy loss streak I'm finally nearing 50:50 wins =/. I was 78-42 in beta

Dont know if these are all the new items in the test realm but someone posted these in the general discussion. What you think?
I probably will throw in the Leviathan into my Singed/Nasus builds since i build up so many kills/assists in team fights. Don't really play dps carries much and AP item dont seem that great for the way I play casters.

the new mejai is trash, not even worth using
