Spawn system is utter crap, the amount of spawn camping reminds of shitty FPS titles in like 2002. I dont understand why they dont have multiple spawn zones on each map to prevent this.

EDIT: thank you snotboogie, now I can feel better having saved the money (I'm all for good gameplay, which the game has, but I'm a graphics whore)

I dont understand why they dont have multiple spawn zones on each map to prevent this. shouldn't really be happening if your playing on PC version, u can literally swap squad and spawn on any team mate on the map, the default spawn point is crap, but overall the spawn system is way better than MW2 imo. this game is way much noob-friendly and really no that much of a fun once you've figured out what this game is all about.... flanking/sneak behind and be a spawn point for ur team mate. the game is way too slow paced and really punishes low lvl newbies because of so much the speed of the lvl progression and how much u suffered because of the weapons and perks advantage of higher lvl players,so u have to get past i think lvl 25 to be on equal footing, which it will take quite a while for u to get there. haven't played this shit for almost 3-4 months, but i got so tired of it only after 2 month + of casual playing, i can see why some people enjoyed this game, it's slow paced and supposedly "tactical" if u call it that, sniper doesn't one shot easily at a far range unless head shots, which is again made difficult by the bullets physics. tubes and rocket launchers aren't as ridiculous as in MW2. sigh too bad MW2 is played on such shitty online platform, its gameplay isn't perfect but its a really enjoyable FPS.. oh, in BC2 i'd suggest u try using a sniper rifle attached with the red dot sight, it hillarious and some snipers actually bugs out, i used to fuck around with the M95 with red shot attached rushing in playing like a shot gun class. and they made every gun is powerful as the M60 yet?

It takes an average of 2 shots for me at least. And it's something called gravity... when you're trying to shoot long range. This isn't like MW2 or other FPS games with sniper rifles where the bullet goes straight directly where the scope is. This game > MW2 by miles.

Yeah, I totally agree with you... I bought BC2 on release day and the game was AWESOME because everyone was picking more aggressive classes and there were rarely a ton of snipers like now. I guess all the MW2 players switched to BC2, which is why there are so many recon class players lol. The best way to get around that is just plaiyng with your friends to be in the same squad together and just flank snipers. To be honest, most of the snipers I played with are not good.... I remember having a guy on my team that did nothing but camp on a hill or near bushes and trees and just call in mortar strikes. The only time I don't mind snipers if they actually work w/ the squad such as spotting enemies, throwing motion sensor grenades, or actually use his damn mic to call out stuff.

Yea thats a continuing problem, the size of maps mean you aren't forced to be offensive, so a whole team can go sniper and well you've lost. Having said that its usually because you already have, people tend to switch on mass when the chopper landings or just pushes fail horribly. If you see 'PUUSH !!1!' in team chat its pretty much game. Having said that if you manage to move the game on a stage/area (when the map moves forward) it really switches. All the snipers disappear and you get all that momentum back. I think its partly due to players leaving, so the new guys bring some gusto and forward spawns.

The PC version is great, but it kinda runs slow on my PC... so... I go to my PS3 version and it's basically fantastic except for the fucking lag. I don't normally rage at games or anything but for some reason it's so annoying to rubber-band back 3 steps or to kinda.... move when you're even standing still. Anyone else having this problem? Oh yeah, after playing BC2, I couldn't even stand playing MW2 anymore. The game is basically great, for this genre.

I'm sniper master, once you get the trajectory figured out for m95/m24 you will be 1shotting people in no time. My account name is Kennigit if anyone wants to play

My kill ratios instantly went from around 1-1 to 2-1, lmao. This game is so brutal on CPUs, it feels like a totally different game.

Your post is not really true imo. Both me and my brother were upper level counter-strike players for many many years, and both decided to give BC2 a shot. By the time we hit level 3, we were already leading the scoreboards in every squad deathmatch game we played. It was actually pretty funny to watch him drop 25bombs when he was only level 3 , and level 50's were hovering around 10-15 kills. My point is you dont have to be level 25 to compete with anyone. Sure magnum ammo is going to give anyone over lvl 15 an advantage etc, but when you shoot someone in the face with your first 3 bullets, it doesnt really matter does it.
