I went 3-3. I played a really close set with the C. Falcon player that made it into bracket instead of me. Although I am a Falco main, I sometimes go Marth vs Falcon because I have a ton of experience in this matchup. I went marth for all three games. G1: three stock deficit, but made the comeback with 1 gimp and two clean edgeguards G2: last stock last hit, choked and got killed G3: was down three stocks to one. One solid edgeguard, one ken combo, then last hit last stock situation again where I choked once again. In consolation bracket (~34 players), I went 5-2 so I wasn't too upset about that but I really would have loved to make it into the main bracket, although there I probably would have gone 0-2 or 1-2 at best lol. On the other hand it still seems like my Falco vs Peach is a huge weakness. I just get bodied in it and don't really stand a chance. TT;

Where do you think the players currently stack up? At this point, I believe it's hard to put Hbox anywhere lower than 2. 1. Armada 2. Hbox 3. Leffen?? 4. Mang0?? 5. m2k?? 6. PPMD?? I'm tempted to put m2k above mang0, partially because i'm a fanboy, but it's true that m2k hasn't been to as many big name tournaments this year. I'm even considering dropping PPMD as low as 7-8 below Plup and/or Westballz. The top 10 is certainly more interesting in 2015

Leffen was even in contention for 1 at one point, and I think hbox at #3 is still nice for him because it means he edged out his long time rival mango

Plus that swag money PP bias. I actually did my own top 50 just for fun I may put it in a blog at some point but it seems a bit redundant with MIOM's coming out which will be much more seriously looked at I'm sure

IDK if it's enough to put him below top 6 but it's not -that- outlandish an idea. His most recent outing at Summit was super weak too.

It's definitely a weird situation however with so little data available. (even has a win over westballz, another top 10 member, although 3-2 last stock) Plup's argument would be that he's been to more, but it also shows him losing to non top 6 players more, with losses to MacD, Shroomed, Axe, HomeMadeWaffles and Lucky in tournaments post EVO (asuming Apex to EVO PP is considered much better due to his MIOM placing earlier this year).

![]() Hello friends, Six years ago, we started a journey born out of our shared love for competitive fighting games. Eventually, the electrifying passion that coursed through us arced out and drew in more people until our small circle of friends grew into a team, and that team grew into an international community. Project M and its community have grown larger than any of us ever anticipated, and it’s truly heartwarming to see all of the unforgettable connections and friendships that have been forged through this project. Unfortunately, we’re here to say that we’re at the end of that road. We’ve learned so much in the process of making Project M—accumulating life-changing lessons in communication, team work, professionalism, work ethic, and more—but there’s only so far we can take those skills in a volunteer project. With this in mind, we’ve made a difficult business decision: We’re ready to finish development here and move on to bigger and better ventures. We realize that this will come as a shock to many of our fans. Please, forgive us. Again, it’s been an excruciating call to make, but it’s been made a bit easier by our satisfaction with the previous and final release, v3.6. We’ve spent six years polishing Project M, and rather than let it drag on through another several years of dwindling development and change-fatigue in the competitive circle, we’re going to consider our work complete. In the mean time, we plan to be hard at work on new projects, built from the ground up. We can’t spill the beans just yet, but know that we’re looking towards a fresh start with brand new designs. Rather than splitting our focus, many of us want to dedicate ourselves to this new venture fully. In this way, we hope to maintain the level of quality and professionalism you’ve come to expect from us. In summary, we are ceasing development of Project M (effective immediately) and will be making no further releases as we turn our attention towards an entirely new venture. As the PMDev team will be formally disbanded, please forward all official communications regarding Project M to video game attorney and business consultant . We appreciate your support and your understanding. One final time, PMDev Thank you for playing! http://projectmgame.com/en/ Maybe this deserves its own thread.

Warchamp and the rest of the dev team insist there's no C&D or legal action OR threats involved at all. Everyone on Smashboards / Reddit is having a hard time of believing it. But I like the lawyer they link to purely on the basis that he plays vidya gaymes. Come what may.

I have a friend who is working on one of them called Rivals of Aether.
