Ah yes, Yuyuko is still a big weakling to aggressive opponents but with decent zoning she plays like an Iku who can continue pressure.
I kinda miss IaMP Patch, that was a simpler time. The current Soku Patch is marginally gimmicky but very versatile, has one of the best flights in the game, lots of high chip damage options, plenty of guard crush tactics and is decent in most weathers, including the much hated River Mist (which is hated more at higher levels than Typhoon imo). Oh and when I say simpler I mean there feels like there's less of a guessing game cos her specials have a pretty long recovery in Soku. T-T
Edit: Bullets in IaMP are cost effective aren't they? In Soku, it's not common for a bullet to deal equal spirit damage. At best, 1 orb's worth of bullet(s) for 1 orb chipped from your opponent.
omg im so happy they brought back spell practice, sucks when you start your touhou journey with UFO that makes you continue from the start of the stage and makes it totally impossible for you to complete easy.

Do they mean more complicated bombing/power/scoring system or what? I'm not exactly a fan of the word easier but you can shave some difficulty off of SHMUPs in general and have them still be hard.
Id like another playable Yukari though I'll settle with Youmu...I suppose.

although im still relatively new and playing the older ones, this one looks great as usual the art seems to have slightly improved again; the colors are more "modern" or vibrant or whatnot you want to call it
The only problem i have with zun's drawing is that he draws most characters very young (or just petite/semi-chibbi?). I don't quite like this; i like the average fan interpretation of teenager/young-adult xD
I recommend watching it on Youtube at 480P or above as sound quality improves alot~

That song is actually what got me to like Lunatic Princess so much. Arrow Realize is just a great album in general; if you haven't already, check out the Satori Maiden and Charming Domination tracks on there, since they're really beautiful orchestrated stuff.
I still think some of my favourite Touhou remixes were from Concealed the Conclusion.

Bombs can be used 3 ways, Offense, Defense, and Neutral
Offense they can be used to extend combos and do extra damage It also recovers your spirit and knocks the opponent straight up It has fast recovery so you extend combos Some characters need to use O-Bombs for their combos like Yuyuko while other characters don't really need to use them like Sakuya
Defense is bombs used during blockstun and it causes knockdown but does not replenish spirit It has very slow recovery and it is used to stop pressure while its happening
Neutral bombs are done at netural state, can be used to replenish spirit and recovers at moderate rate It is used to stop pressure from starting
Point items are gained by causing knockdown or hitting the opponent while bullets are on screen. Some characters give lots of points while other don't give very many
