I was laughing so much at how ridiculous this was warning watch at your own risk + Show Spoiler +
On a side note I should post an actual remix
I really like this remix Casket of Star is an okay song, but I like how they turned it into a more light-hearted song here Almost all the remixes I've heard were like epic rock versions Plus the uh, synths give it a little hint of like halloween feel or w/e which matches since well Marisa is a magician/witch
edit: aw well Aeres knew with certainty
Give me a challenge next time, JSH. =D
Anyway, I got a drum set for Christmas. I don't know how to play the drums at all, but by God, I've been trying. My latest conquest was this song. So much fun! CROW'SCLAW!
EDIT: I knew that the video from Blasterion wasn't ZUN's work because it said so in the comments.
EDIT 2: That Captain Falcon video is so fucking awesome.
Pretty sick snare intro~
:D Drum set :D I have a set too and I can play a bit :> It's definitely more fun if you play with a band though Too bad its at home and I'm in college :<
You should try playing Demetori songs on drums lol Impossible X_X
Definitely was not expecting either of those songs to be that way. Very different and refreshing, although I'm preeeetty sure Bruce Dickinson turned Japanese for them.
Iron Attack pretty much uses MANY of Iron Maiden's riff for their own music. Still one of my favourite touhou group, and definitely in vocal Power Metal.

Wouldn't there be grounds for a lawsuit, then? I mean, it's pretty blatant musical plagiarism there, so unless Iron Maiden and the gang are okay with it, I dunno if what IRON ATTACK! is doing can be written off as perfectly fine.

Then again, I'm no lawyer.
I doubt Iron Maiden is going to care about IRON ATTACK using parts of their work It's not like they are making significant profits or influence They probably don't even know about them lol

To be fair, lots of songs out there recycle riffs. There's only so many chords out there and it's just about arranging them after each other. Then, some don't even fit well with others so that narrows down options. So then the only thing left to play with are the pauses between the notes.
It can't be helped that some songs will sound similar in some ways, much the same way as lyrics. Some phrases may be reused, especially if the message of the song is similar to another. Then of course, there's the argument that the musicians don't own the notes (similar to not owning words or phrases).
There'd be stronger grounds for a lawsuit if there was a direct copy of the instrumentals from Iron Maiden's music rather than just copying a few riffs to make an arrangement (that is supposed to sound like) a ZUN song.
In regards to copyright laws, you can't expect everything in the media to be totally different from one another. The best example are drum beats. There's going to be a lot of recycling there in music.
In this case, what they're doing is closer to referencing Iron Maiden, with the name and the guitar riffs, than plagiarism. They're not copying an entire song, and our favourite musicians don't own guitar riffs, not even the famous solos, they're just recognized for it.
EDIT: Remix of a song from Magical Astronomy, one of ZUN's albums.
EDIT: So I did some research. Turns out the circle who produced the above song is named Kissing the Mirror. One of their albums is called "Fatal Scythe's Awakening"... and the album art. The fucking album art. It's creepy, yet amazing.
After going back to listen to some of the songs im sad to say that what i like seems completely opposite from what aeres likes haha. Dark phoenix just seems too off for my ears :/

To each their own, I guess. Fortunately, there are way too many circles out there for anyone to honestly say "I don't like any of them." You'll find something eventually.
And that picture of reisen looks so awesome.
Which picture of Reisen? O_o The one from the video I posted, or the one from my profile, or from some other source?
That's a new one for me, too. It's most likely from that one Seihou game that Yuuka was a playable character in. I don't really like it too much, though. = /
