Championship Bracket Replay Pack Note: It seems that MLG has mixed up the replays in the replay pack, Mvp vs. DongRaeGu and Mvp vs. BoxeR seem to be MMA vs. DongRaeGu and MMA vs. BoxeR.
Mvp loses to Scarlett, LG-IM loses to Axiom-Acer, 3-4. They are in 4th place with a score of 1-1 (7-6)!
A sad day, but hopefully this loss means nothing. It's the team league, after all, and Mvp's specialty is winning GSL... speaking of which, make sure to watch Mvp attempt the WCS Season 1 2013 Korea GSL Preliminaries! I think if Mvp qualifiers, wins the Challenger Division, and wins one of the WCS Korea seasons, then he can participate in the global final. This is a crucial time for Mvp!
Additionally, I have combined all of the GSL Season 2 2012 Part 2 images into one giant image. By doing this, I want to reduce the number of images in the first post and ultimately allow more images to fit (since we have reached the 100 image limit)!
...I have no freaking idea why I did not think of that. I even planned on stealing that idea from the DRG Fan Club but it totally slipped my mind I guess.
At the LG CINEMA 3D World Festival 2013 on Monday, April 8, 2013, LG-IM faced off against AZUBU. The third set pitted Mvp and MC against BBoong and San in a 2v2 match which, of course, Mvp and MC won.

It's official, Mvp will be playing in WCS Europe Premier Division. Some of us were thinking NA but it turns out he's playing in EU, along with MMA MC and some others.
Hmm...I think there may be a bit of bullshit in the works. Why would MMA move when he's one of the AxA aces? Why would Taeja leave when he's already in Code S? There are a lot of strange things about it, so don't jump to any conclusions quite yet.
I think It's an absolutely fucking brilliant decision as far as maximizing potential for WCS points/prize money goes, look at the list and see how many good Korean players picked NA over EU, Mvp MMA and MC are going to have a field day.
That being said I'm disappointed that we wont see Mvp in the GSL anymore, the symbol of the GSL and its only 4 time champion forced to leave it because WCS is too good to ignore.
Yeah, and it's also weird how players like Taeja who are already in Code S are moving. But there is a different thread for this discussion, so I'll take it there ^^
Yes it is a little bit sad to see Mvp leaving GSL but I think it's the best decision right now. It would be awesome to take a G5L trophy but 4 GSL champions is still a record that I don't think anyone can ever break. Besides, it seems that Kespa players have been dominating the GSL, not a good place for Mvp to stay and recover his injury. WCS EU and NA are less packed, why don't go there :D
I am so dissapointed in Mvp. I dont want to write a wall of text, but his desicion not to play GSL made me mad and sad. Im so dissapointed.. how can I be his biggest fan now when he choose money and ez wins over great games for his fans? Yes he does what he wants, but he is not that guy who need to get money since hes already has a lot and killing his reputation and skill himself bcuz of playing/practice at newbie eu scene.. This makes me sad

Not only that, but how will mvp ever win the 5time GSL trophy now?! That trophy will have to be put in storage for at least another year.

I will defend Mvp's decision to go to WCS EU. Really, it's not a matter of whether or not he should compete with the very best - no matter what, he will not be able to do so. If he stays in Korea, he will have to fight through the Qualifiers, then spend the rest of this entire season in the Challenger League. Then, if Mvp gets into the Premier League, then that will pretty much be his only opportunity. If he doesn't place extremely high (semifinals or above) in that season, then there's a high chance Mvp won't be able to make it to the Global Finals. In other words, if Mvp messes up once along the way (fails to qualify for Challenger League, fails to get into Premier League, fails in the Ro32/Ro16 of Premier League), then Mvp is out of luck and out of money.
If he goes through WCS EU, he will most likely be seeded into the Premier League. Once seeded, he will have many more opportunities and more room for error. If he wins a WCS EU season, then he can get into the Global Finals. Mvp will make more money and have more opportunities to shine instead of wallowing around in the Challenger League. Besides, the playing field is easier in EU (NA seems scary too).
I am sure that if Mvp was still in Code S, he would remain in Korea. He has done it once, he has done it twice, actually he's made it to the finals a whopping total of 6 times. There's no question that Mvp can do it again. Yes, Mvp belongs among the hardest competition in the world... but you have to admit that WCS EU is a fantastic decision.
