As long as he doesn't get cheesed by Heart, he should be fine.
Squirtle is in his group? i wouldn't say beating squirtle in pvp is easy task. Also Sniper is good. I think NaNiwa will advance but would not be really surprised if he placed 3rd or 4th

GOOO Naniwa!!! Become the best player in the world! I believe!

Tough luck nani, i am still 100% confident that you can achieve all your goals if you put your mind into it. Dont hang urself up on dropping down, just kick some code A ass and come back stronger than ever next season!

Keep on fighting Johan! We all know you can get back.

Too bad Naniwa, not your day today. Keep fighting though. Even MC dropped out, so it can happen to the best. You can make it back in next time.

That wall off on Antiga was pretty cool. Really like that Naniwa tries to play creatively, more than any other Protoss really, but I feel sometimes that can work against him. Even though the builds might be good on paper I feel like that without specifically dedicated practice partners, which every Korean has, the builds end up being more experimental.
Pertinently I was curios with whom Naniwa practices his matches with. He is playing against the best in the world but does he lack practice partners that can actually give him proper practice required at this level of play? Of all foreigners it's only Naniwa's games that I feel emotionally invested, mostly due to his dedication to actually perfect his game above everything. They way I feel about this whole thing is that Naniwa is playing with a handicap, he is living alone in a foreign country and culture, all with the expectations from a lot of fans from home with no real team.
In the end I want to say to Nani that he shouldn't give up because he has the creativity and skill to succeed, no doubt about it.

Even if you lose, I'll always be here for you Johan.

Yeah, sucks that he lost but being a fan isn't about being a turncoat for results. Gl in the up and downs and in future tournaments!

I dont like the word "fan", I rather just say I like the guy and root for him. No loss could change that.
Its not just him being a swede either. I dont care as much for thorzain (for example) at all even though hes surely a very nice guy etc.
