Naniwa's group is definitely harder imo. Naniwa either has to beat the best PvP player in the world or win against a really high level zerg known for picking apart players strategies AND in Naniwa's worst matchup. Mana plays his best matchup 3 times against 2 players who are fairly bad at it and it's even Taeja's worst matchup. Mana has a much higher chance of advancing imo.

I don't think so; Mvp and Taeja are two players most people expect to see in the top 8 and even though MMA has fallen from the spotlight throughout the year he's going to be really scary if he plays like he did at, for example, Iron Squid. Comparing MU:s is difficult considering Mana has mostly been playing vs European opponents while the three Korean Terrans in his group have mostly been playing other Koreans. If you look at the international winrates for the Korean players, Mvp has over 70 % winrate vs Toss, Taeja has around 66 % and MMA has just slightly over 73 % (!). It's neither player's worst match-up.
Don't get me wrong, Naniwas group isn't easy either, but it's probably the best he could hope for (save for a group with no Zergs).

can't wait! :D i do think NaNi has better chance to advance than MaNa though. However it will of course be hard

Wow, just checked Nani grup... always cheering for him but he is likely to losse here imo. I don't think in the current state of PVZ for him/all tosses he really stands a chance against Sniper, vs Heart its hard to say but i think its a little bit in favour of Nani and Squirtle is really good pvper... than again, naniwa has shown us that he can win with smaller armies and wrost upgrades via superb micro and unit slection in late game pvp + he is also a micro beast with stalkers/immortals.
So here's to Naniwa, hope he wins his group once again !

I think Naniwa has a really good chance of taking it. I'd be surprised if he didn't advance.

Apparently NaNiwa got invited to NASL 4! Replacing CrazyMoving.

if hoping for someone to win would make it true, I would've single-handedly delivered nani his GSL, WCS, TSL and IEM trophies. Oh boy do I want him to take it all this GSL season.

NaNiwa is in group F, which plays Tuesday 11th, 18:10 Korean time, so midday Tuesday for us Europeans
Best of luck to NaNiwa! We always believe!

Of course that's the case. Just the day I had some plans on for the day. FML.
