What BM did Naniwa do besides not play a pointless match?
At least he doesn't just randomly go on twitter and BM his rivals.
He's just obsessed with starcraft and that is why he is succeeding and MC is not, MC has alwys been more for show and fans and emotion while Nani is truly focused on winning. And that, I can respect.

I like both MC and Naniwa, but it's ridiculous to claim that "Naniwa is succeeding and MC is not". MC is the winningest player in SC2, it is simply objectively wrong to say that MC isn't succeeding, unless your metric for success in the competitive sport that is SC2 isn't tournament earnings.

By succeeding, I mean right now.
Is nestea succeeding? No, but he has won int h past, that doesn't mean that he is successive right now.
Go further back, are nada and july succeeding? They won more stuff than MC but they are not doing well now.

In the present, Naniwa is performing much better than MC. Naniwa won his group 2-0, MC lost his 0-2, that is objectively in the favor of Naniwa.

So yeah, your metric is different. Still, for MC being only about "show and fans" as you claim, he's still won the most out of anyone in SC2 so he's doing something right

Oh, and let me just clarify, since I'm sure some random Naniwa fan is going to get all defensive and tell me that this is Naniwa's fanclub, I respect Naniwa a lot for his determination and attitude, and I like him as a player as well. The thing is, I like both MC and Naniwa and it's kind of silly to just make statements about MC that are just blatantly wrong in the face of MC's accomplishments. We don't need to bring down one player to praise another...

in the present? you base your opinion on 1 (!) tournament where naniwa does better than MC. nothing else. you should look what MC won even in 2012 or is this already the past for you like nada and july?

This is how I feel about MC, he has more natural talent than almost anyone in the sc2 scene, possible exceptions being MVP and Nestea, but I feel he is not serious enough. He is more focused on pleasing fans and giving shows than playing well. That is why I am not a MC fan. Naniwa is the complete opposite, he doesn't care at all about fans, and he plays just for the game and himself, I respect that a lot more. Even though MC may accomplish more monetarily than Naniwa, I don't like him as much. Look at holly wood, Kim Kardashian has achieved more monetarily than MC, but is she a "more skilled" individual. Most people here would say no. But she must be "doing something right " She is more a personality than a skilled person.

I see Naniwa as the guy who works really hard and gets less reward and even gets hate and BM from MC and his fans because he's jealous. I sympathize with Naniwa in this case. I'm also really happy for Naniwa now because he is finally achieving a high result in gsl, but I'm kind of mad because even though he's out, MC had to make it about him.

I see what you're saying and everything you said is reasonable except for the Kim Kardashian analogy. MC and Naniwa are in the same profession, Kim Kardashian is completely separate. If you were to compare Kim to someone else in the entertainment industry then one could indeed make the argument that she's more successful, though skill plays a much smaller role in success in the entertainment industry than it does in e-Sports, where money is directly tied with skill - play better than everyone, win money. In the entertainment industry, it's completely different - more musically talented than Justin Bieber? Sorry, doesn't matter - that's about popularity and many other factors.

What that meant was most people hate Justin Bieber but he's rich so he much be doing something right. But most people don't really respect him because tehy don't see him as a focused and hardworking individual.
However, MC does have more talent that Naniwa probably, but I respect Naniwa more because he has been practicing extremely hard to the exclusion of all else including ceremonies and such and I like seeing a player who focuses only on the game succeed over a player that isn't as focused. Just as most people would like to see someone who works a lot at singing and made them self great through their own merit over Justin Bieber.

I don't think Nani cares if we think he is a sociopath as long as he wins Code S

MC won more this year than all other protoss. Like last month won 35K. I guess you mean recent, like yesterday. Don't be rediculous. If I had a dime for everytime someone counted MC out I'd be as rich as MC.

I like em both 4ever, huk too - no need for hate.

I'm not counting him out at all. I'm just really happy that Naniwa finally succeeded in a big way int he gsl and kind of sad that MC is trying to detract from it.

I really do agree with NaNiwa here. It's not the first time MC has talked shit about NaNiwa. Just these last two weeks he has brought up how he dislikes NaNiwa in three separate interviews:

1. At GSL Off the record ro32 Code S (Starts at 3:10)
2. At MLG Spring Arena 2 (Direct link to 2:42)
3. At GSL Off the record Ro16 Code S (Starts at 3:30)

The first GSL interview was pretty much in a joking way and Chae asked MC two times about NaNiwa. But the MLG interview Hot_Bid didn't even ask anything about NaNiwa but MC still started to talk shit about NaNi.

So when NaNiwa watch the MLG interview as well as the other interviews he simply says: Enough is enough.

Some random fan says some shit on twitter to MC and he publically calls out naniwa because of it. And thats cool with you then?

Some fan in mc fan club said some shit about naniwa, so now nani is entitled to be a dickface to mc on twitter?

Your logic... Its broken.

Ok I think you missed the point... in regards to the actual players, I think both of them did nothing too wrong. MC got pissed off at dumb Naniwa fans, and Naniwa has trolled MC in the past, making them at odds. Your assuming that somehow I'm taking MC's side entirely in this when I'm really not. So they don't like each other, fine. I just don't agree with fans of either player making things worse for both sides. MC is not entitled to be a dick and the twitter thing was a dumb mistake, but just as he is to blame, so are the fanboys dissing him and trying to get at him. They technically did start this "drama" because without them they would just hate each other normally, none of this BS would occur. I think publicly dissing MC, even if it is in Naniwas fanclub, is just inviting more people to come and argue both sides, "adding fuel to the fire". I'm a fan of both players, and I think the exact same thing about MC fans dissing Naniwa in the MC fanclub. There's no point to it.

You are clearly a MC fanboy. Nani havent done anything to MC in a while, and still
MC take every chance to bm nani. If nani fanboys call out MC, then MC should be old enough to realise that this is nothing Nani can be blamed for. MC just needa to chill and stop obsess about Nani, then all will be good

Ok now both of you are missing the point. Call me a fan of whoever, I like both Naniwa and MC, the only bias I really have is for my favorite toss, Hero.
If you want me to designate a person on who should be more to blame, then fine its MC. But I still don't get how you also missed the point when I clearly explained it the second time. If you want to say that ALL the blame is against MC for this little drama, ok I could also see how you would think that. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT.
By dissing MC in Nani's fanclub, your both inviting a bunch of MC fanboys to come and start arguments that I don't think you guys want to even get involved in. They weren't even like thoughtful disses, you guys are just straight bagging on MC. This started with fanboys being idiots and deciding to troll MC on what was a really rough night of losses for him. Should he apologize to Nani for calling him out randomly? Yup, probably. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT.
It's plain stupid for fanboys to be affecting a pro player like this, honestly. I mean do you really hate MC that much? I'm not saying that your the ones who tweeted at MC trolling him and such, but by just publicly dissing him like that, your making the situation way more drama filled than it has to be. THATS THE POINT.
Well hopefully no more misunderstandings. End Rant.

How ironic that MC calls NaNiwa bm when MC is being extremely bm himself right now. Calling NaNiwa out on interviews on 3 separate occassions.

And HuK................ wow............... he just sits there and nods and agrees with MC because they are friends. Talk about being a false person and having no balls whatsoever.

The probe rush was like 5 months ago and NaNiwa has apologised both for that and for calling NesTea an idiot. Get the F#CK over it MC!!! He's so full of himself.

I remember MC said that he looks up to White_Ra because of his manners and that NaNiwa should strive to become more like him. Funny thing though is that MC is no where near as mannered as White_Ra.

MC is not even giving NaNiwa a chance it seems. If he want's NaNiwa to become more mannered then he should give NaNiwa a f#cking chance instead of smacktalking him in interviews.

And one more thing i find funny. He says he doesn't like NaNiwa but he says NaNiwa is a very skilled progamer. And then in another interview he says NaNiwa is just lucky...................... WTF? Where is the fucking consistancy?

Im disgusted by their behaviour.

I love MC as well but I gotta admit he's taking this shit too far. Brotosses need to stick together!

Anyway, Naniwa has a real chance of making the semis- MVP will be tough but he's not invincible. Naniwa 화이팅!
