I've heard many things about MC's personality in reality and almost all of them were positive, and that leads me to believe that MC wouldn't be doing this without some serious provocation, or, at least, perhaps due to some misunderstanding due to some language barrier. With that said, I feel that MC is definitely handling this the wrong way and it's a bit disappointing to see him engaging in a petty twitter war with Naniwa, though Naniwa definitely isn't blameless either. This is just an unfortunate and stupid situation between two players that I like, I hope this doesn't continue >_< I'm never super attached to players but I always wanted to see MC win. However his behavior has been petty as of late and I hope that I'm not misplacing my dislike in that. It would be unfortunate to hear that Nani had done something horribly wrong to him, but I feel with his recent mature attitude that MC simply misunderstands Nani and has taken the Probe Rush incident too seriously. It's actually a really wierd feeling, because I still like MC, but I want to see Nani do better than him. Especially after all the comments MC made about Nani being lucky.
Yeah, it's too bad. Sometimes people just don't get along, I guess that's just how things are right now. It's strange because there are reports that MC is always really friendly and sociable when he meets other players (Milkis wrote about it in his blog a good while back), so to see him hating on Naniwa so harshly is quite odd, which only solidifies my belief that their personalities simply clash in some unfortunate way.

And the fact that you would probably as a korean progamer in some aspects be looked down upon if you in any way supported Naniwa. TT____TT

I'm not too sure about that. By that logic, the entire Startale house should be outcasts at this point

Nani has declined to play in the Invite Only Online Qualifiers for MLG do to not haveing time this is after his GSL match so not sure why.
|
I'm guessing he probably plays PvT exclusively right now. I bet you know where this is going.
|
I get a bit confused when people talk about the Naniwa/MC-dispute as a "twitter war". Naniwa asked MC to stop mentioning that he disliked him in every interview, told him to shut up and play Starcraft, MC replied that he'd do that if Naniwa did the same.
Then MC posted some stuff aimed at Naniwa's fans, but nothing aimed at him in person.
So where is this "war" you speak of?

Khaldor speaking about Naniwa's training in Korea. Seems like he is in really good shape, i hope he does well next round

60 games is what Flash does...THE RESEMBLANCE IS CLEAR! HE IS THE NEW FLASH!!!

60 games a day... if the ordinary game is 10+ minutes, that's more than 10 hours a day.
Amazing.

hope all this hard work will pay off for him
NANI FIGHTING!

Wow, what a nice video by Khaldor! Almost gave me a tear in the eye to hear him say such nice things.

The only explanation I can think of is that Huk has been egging MC on in some way as I've seen Huk making harsh statements about Naniwa on TL before this went down. It sucks because I like all three brotosses. Anyway Naniwa just has to ignore this and keep his eyes on the prize. I don't think MVP is in anything like his peak form at the moment and is definitely beatable.

I have so many conflicting feelings right now, lol !
It's ok!
btw im not a fan of MVP but he seems like a really awesome individual. But i hope NaNiwa crush him ofcourse

I've always liked NaNiwa (NaNiwa is my favourite player of all) more than MC. But i am a fan of them both.
But im not as big of a fan of MC as i was before. Still a fan though but i have lost some respect for him. I hope that can be repaired somehow.
To people who are wondering why i didn't lose respect for NaNiwa when he acted unprofessional:
The reason i like NaNiwa is partly because of his attitude. He is that way and i like that. So there's no reason for me to lose respect for him when he does "crazy" stuff because that's how he works sometimes. It somehow suits him to be more of a "badass".
And MC i like for his funny personality and celebrations and stuff. Also what i like about MC (or liked) is his manners. It suits him just like it suits NaNiwa to be a "badass".
But now recently MC has started to be a real jerk. Talking about NaNiwa in interviews and stuff. Not being the mannered MC we are used to see. And that's why im dissapointed in him.
But im not gonna stop being MC's fan because of this. Im gonna give him a chance to practice what he preach and man the f#ck up. But if MC keeps on going im gonna have to stop being his fan sadly. Hope that doesn't happen.
And NaNiwa will always be my favourite and ofcourse whenever NaNiwa and MC meet i hope NaNiwa wins every time. The Dragonslayer and King In The North forever in my heart! <3

I get a feeling we'll see MC make up with Naniwa realizing he's being way too harsh for no reason or at least I hope so. Like you, my respect for MC has diminished a bit because of this but I'm still a big fan and I hope he can come to his senses soon.

I guess because he doesn't want to commit to anything until his MLG run this season is over. Also remember, that with the way he's been training lately, any average Z could beat him, no point in going up against a bunch of them in the online qualis.
