Here's a stupid suggestion for the NASL video, do a Dr Chill, with that outfit, possibly we see in all the pictures and a ferrot instead of a cat, maybe some wine to add to the chill and tell everyone how you are going to rule the world yadiyadiyada... =)
Am hoping for something more than an Idra video anyhow.
Watching Tyler stream I have to say one thing that always impresses me is that he always has fantastic sim city. It may seem like a minor thing but that's one thing that always irked me about Huk's play is that he does things as fast as possible, so his buildings are always strewn about randomly with no order or defensive measure. I have never seen Huk wall off his third with Gateways on Metalopolis the way Tyler does. I guess it harkens back to the BW pro experience where everything had to be neatly placed to wall things off and fit economically.
Awesome pvp just now; cannon rush from the opponent and then Tyler decides to counter cannon rush. Tyler can't mine, but takes out the opponent's main nexus. After some crazy micro, Tyler destroys the opponent's expansion nexus at the gold. Then as they are both waiting for draw, Tyler sees that he can still mine from 2 of his mineral patches that the cannon can't hit.
Tyler's play in this series was seriously just completely fucking amazing. This is exactly the nony I remember from the broodwar days and I have completely changed my opinion on his chances in TSL3.
Tyler is the only player I've seen that shows brilliance in his play. I don't know how to explain it, but Tyler's play is just more "in-depth" than other pros.
I watch a lot of Protoss streams, including the ones of pro players, but their play is so "generic". I don't know. I can't explain it. Tyler really has a BW-esque playstyle. It's only a matter of time before he makes it big.
Yep, if Tyler keeps up his practicing (which hopefully he will continue to stream ^_^) he will go on raping faces in the classy style seen in the Tyler vs Jinro showmatch and possibly even take MLG, or TSL again!
KevinIX I agree with you, first time I saw Tyler/NonY's play it did somehow look different than everyone else's. My theory is that he is more meticulous with his approach, which is really strong once he has the pure game time in, as his responses become more calculated than other people's. He also, obviously, becomes quicker.
Sign me up for this! I've always been a fan, but seeing his amazing play vs. Jinro in the showmatch changed my view of him altogether. Rooting for him or Huk to take down TSL 3!
