I think it's ok to be proud of your accomplishments, especially when you're weightlifting. It feels pretty awesome. Better than winning at SC2, because " anyone can win at SC2" :D Kinda like this? Yeah. Eating a lot and training at least 3x a week will do that to everyone though!
Even if you get muscle aches from lifting a pencil right now, you could be benching 200lbs in 3-4 months. Bragging about accomplishments is annoying - no matter what it is. He's not being "proud" he's being an arrogant wanker in his special InControl way. If he was really just happy for IdrA and Machine's accomplishments, why not just say what they did? Instead he says what they did and then one-ups them by adding his own bench, which isn't even his max (as you say) anyhow. He's a wanker. It's annoying that people can't handle hearing other people ''bragging'' about what they're good at. If you think that, then you'd have that right; but I highly suspect you find bragging annoying too. It's annoying that he tries to trump his teammates - or can't say a fucking thing without tooting his own horn (i.e. his horrid NASL casting). Show nested quote +On August 20 2011 01:07 ewswes wrote:

EDIT: I've got no beef with IdrA or Machine, good on them for getting healthy; but InControl is a tool. No, I dont find people bragging to be annoying, when they are truly good at it, and dont overdo it. What I do find annoying is people like you, who cant handle anyone saying anything positive about himself. Like seriously? You're going to hate because he benchpressed more than 2 pretty small guys, and said it on his god damn twitter? That's kind of sad imo

It's just one more thing to add to the long list of InControl idiocy.
He doesn't "overdo it"? Did you listen to him cast the NASL? One of the primary complaints against him was that he never stopped talking about himself. He has a track-record for saying utterly idiotic things, getting called on it, and then having to take it back and act like the "nice guy" (or just pretend that somehow he's the victim).
So here he is, telling anyone who might be listening how much his teammates can bench, which he follows up with his bench - and not just the numerical figure - but "killed it, made it look easy" when you can bet IdrA and Machine worked their ass off for half of his weight. So, so, so supportive; and a thinly veiled "HEY GUYS! LOOKWHATICANDO!"
He's a tool.
Oh, and for the record, I can handle people being positive about their success. I think it's great that IdrA is getting in shape, to be honest he looked unhealthy for a while. However, there's a big difference between positivity and arrogance; InControl is full of the latter.

That tweet from incontrol didn't give me any feelings that he was being arrogant, just very pleased with his own achievement. He isn't trying to "1up" his teammates, he has such a larger build compared to them, you would be a fool to think he was actually proud of being able to bench more.
I just think he was being proud of his teammates and proud of himself, haters gonna hate.

Hey can you guys not talk about incontrol's twitter in the idra fan club? Saw it at the top of the list and thought there might be some interesting posts about my favorite zerg but instead it's just a bunch of garbage I don't care about. Thanks!

Fair enough.
Not trying to detract from IdrA's accomplishments.

IdrA should post something like "I'll commentate on my stream again when the fanclub hits page 2000".
Make a bet with HuK or whoever how long it'll take (I'd suggest a week).
Result: TLs servers almost die, you get free beer, and the longest fanclub thread ever. you could call it... the Grandmaster of all fanclub threads.

Would be terrible as it most likely would be spamed and then closed. In addition I don't see the benefit of TL servers almost dieing.

Idra doesn't give a shit about the posts on his fanclub
|
He actually kind of does give a shit about his fanclub, I just doubt he reads it cause he realizes that there are a ton of people here that are solely here to talk shit about him.
Also for iNcontroL's tweet, I have no idea how he was bragging or trrying to overshadow IdrA. I can't even fucking bench 100 (Doesn't help I have a reasonable fear of dropping the bar on my neck), and iNcontroL weightlifts as a hobby. I doubt IdrA would be like "Dude wtf is up with that tweet"

Plus it's always nice to know that, as a professional, IdrA is FAR better than InC...and now he has a decent Toss practice partner in HuK. InControl should just work on his own game and stop tweeting.

He is mad because SC2 is a lot worse than SC1, which was his passion for many years.
