aww sucks i missed the games. How were huk/idra to each other? and I'm shocked idra loss to tarson. I caught the upper bracket games and it looked like he rolled over tarson
IPL and MLG Anaheim. As pissed of as I am the way he lost, I'm actually very happy he made it this far anyway. He played better than DreamHack and he seems to somewhat improve in some areas. He's not leaving the games as quick as he used to and his unit control has gotten somewhat better, at least against Protoss. A few things from the looks that he still needs to work on. He's still losing to 2-rax Bunker rushes, which in my opinion he shouldn't be losing to, and the Banshee/Hellion push from Terran. But overall top6, I'd say he did a good job.

not to mention that once again he was the top zerg in the tournament, and survived the most as zerg against alot of very good players.
Idra is pretty much always the last Zerg alive in major tournaments and is third only to NesTea and LosirA. He loses every ZvZ to Zenio, but 1) who doesn't? 2) Zenio is weak vT/P while Idra isn't nearly as weak.
Idra's consistent for his tournament showing because he always makes it to group play and usually lands ro4/8, that's not a very easy feat.
If people call IdrA bad, then EVERY other NA Zerg is pretty much worthless.
Citing that W/L chart for Idra, does any other NA/EU Zerg have anything remotely close to that sort of W/L?

Idra also lost to Sen and Xiaot 0-2, but I don't know enough about the Taiwan and Chinese scenes to group those players in with Korean or foreigners.
He still has a decisively winning record against huk and when you only play some of the best koreans without having the luxury of playing players like younghwa, Junwi, curious, aLive etc to boost your record of course it will look bad. Zenio is a top 3 ZvZer in the world and the rest except huk are all great.
