"real game" doesnt mean brood war, real game means strong macro game without any protoss op stuff. Thats my thoughts. We can also say that real game means the game where skill matter, not the maxing up in base with voids and collo and just go and win.

I think by real game Idra just means a game that comes down to skill / mechanics (macro, micro, scouting, etc) instead of a build order.

Why he would mean a brood war telling "real game" while playing sc2 tournament. Does it have any sense?. Or he told that he really meant brood war, i can be wrong, but thats my opinion.

IIRC:
TT1 started the game with something along the lines of: "let's not be gay and play a good macro game, ok?"
This may have been genuine, but since IdrA has the reputation of being the most cheesy-play hating person in sc2 it seems kind of pointless, so I for myself perceived it as TT1 talking shit. But I would unterstand if someone took it as genuine. (Which then would mean leaving the toss getting his deathball (colossi + voids + stalkers) up and we all know IdrA has been known to have slight antipathy for that sort of toss unit composition. )

It actually started pretty harmlessly, TT1 said in chat something along the lines of "Lets play an actual macro game!", to which idra responded "But you're Protoss". After that they started exchanging what seemed like banter, but then turned to insulting.
This was the first time i have ever actually watched Idra's stream...randomly thought i'd check it out from the sidebar, happened to tune in right as the game that avilo bunker rushed the wrong natural was beginning, so happy i did tune in as it turned into a very entertaining afternoon!

Since he said something like "some random maphacker from the real game" and TT1 maphacked at BW, I think we can safely assume he meant BW in that statement.

To 3. Yeah and this was what made me wonder. He just acted like idRa was Baneling Rushing or 3 Roach All-Inning every Protoss.
Do you at least know in detail what happend in the Game between him and Rain? Is there a VOD? I didn't see it and i still don't get it from what there is in the thread?
What was the bunker rush thing with Avilo? What is the back ground? The seem to hate each other as well. IdrA seems to have a lot of enemies....

People who say that seriously underestimate how fucking hard it is to attack into an army with range 9 collosus and 6 sentries will almost full energy for forcefields. No, I think people do understand that. But IdrA and Ret know by now that you can't just outmacro the protoss deathball and win in a direct fight. I don't care about imbalance, they need to either stay away from the maxed range to allow themselves more room for infestors/broodlords, or constantly be attacking when maxed. Everyone knows how it works by now. Obviously it's hard, but they don't have a choice. That's how the game has to be played. OR Blizzard can just realise that this is retarded and fix it by doing a few buffs and nerfs.
What the hell would you buff or nerf? Hydras, Roaches, and Lings are all absurdly cost effective against Toss. Colossus is an expensive, tech heavy, fragile unit so of course it's does a shitload of damage. Maybe if Colossus was slower or Hydra was faster maybe something would work, but honestly Zerg units are pretty damn good.
I doubt this is going to be "fixed" until we get new units in HotS. Until then, play the game.

Also, when he played against CombatEX a few weeks back, he made fun of CombatEX for losing against Chill in the "real game" ( BW ). Case closed !

Basically, it was a 4 player map(i forget which) and avilo obviously hadn't scouted. Anyway, he sent out a bunch of marines and SCV's, and at about the center of the map idra saw them with his lings. Idra then baited Avilo's units to the natural of the 7o'clock(idra was actually spawned at the 10o'clock base). Avilo made atleast 3 bunkers all advancing towards that 7o'clock natural, and idra just ran his lings back home and continued macro'ing up.

I didn't catch all of it but basically Rain accidentally paused the game before he left and called gg, which can happen quite easily, and I think Idra pressed surrender instead of unpausing and taking the game, so it counted as a loss. Unlucky, but I don't think Rain meant to do it on purpose, he seemed pretty apologetic the next game.

I watched Idra's awesome stream last night and saw the Rain games. I'm not sure it really counted significantly as a loss, and I'm quite sure Idra did at least lose no points from it.
In one game Idra faced TT1 and got 3 pylon blocked at his ramp, upon which Idra just left. This other game you speak about where they exchanged insults, could anyone bother to write a transcript or screenshot or anything of it? Or the replay perhaps? I'm interested in what they said (I collect zvp whine ^^)

At this stage it is becoming more and more clear that warp gate technology needs to be changed in some capacity. A number of players have stated this but I am yet to see an in-depth analysis, which I am currently working on.
I'm sure most zerg players currently experience some of the frustration that IdrA is dealing with vP. It's not like you can blame the guy for the way he acts/responds.
Also posting here to say GL to IdrA for the NASL.

How about NO. Zerg players are slowly discovering how to stop the Protoss from getting their successful deathball up. Macroing and attacking it head on is NOT the way. The sooner Zerg players understand that, the better.
I don't want SC2 to be a game where every unit sucks as much as every other unit so screw nerfing
