No he doesn't say that. At all.
He said he'll buy LotV "because I kinda have to, yeah I guess so". He says he follows the game and plays from time to time, but makes zero indication that he'll come back to SC2 progaming. It'd be nice though.
Only way it's IdrA is if EG has a Heroes team. I would say if anything it would be someone like Happy who played for EG during his runs at WCG for Warcraft 3.

"And the winner of the first Blizzard Heros tournament is... is Evil Geniuses." Greg looks into the crowd. He's home. He's back where he belongs. A single tear rolls down his cheek as he raises the check over his head and the flashing of cameras reflect in his glossy eyes. He looks over at his teammate LZGamer and gives him a half-smile and a nod. A sense of accomplishment and complacency washes over him. LZ nods back, but Greg doesn't see it. Off in the distance behind LZ a crowd is forming. Something's happening. Over the crowd cheering, Greg can hear there's something going wrong with WCS. TaeJa is sick. He had a bad double-double from in-n-out, and can't play his matches. There's an open spot in the WCS GrandFinals, and no one to fill it. Greg casually walks over to the ref's and tells him he knows someone who can fill the spot. The ref asks who. Greg stares at him blankly before the ref's eyes go wide as he realizes who he's talking to. The ref says, "If the Grack I remember is still in there, JaeDong doesn't stand a chance." He climbs in the booth, and begins his war planning. Greg 4-0's the Tyrant in only macro games, and the crowd goes insane. He only played macro games. He walks out on the stage for his second victory ceremony in the same day and his Hero's team stands off to the side cheering him on, just like the old days. As the WCS trophy is handed to him and he hoists it above his head, Greg sees his entire starcraft 2 career before his eyes. Starcraft is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The tournaments are extended Series and the games are full of cheese and when the winnings finally dry up, and the game is dead. The accumulated filth of all their BM and drama will foam up about their waists and all the fans and hosts will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no." Greg goes back to his hotel room with his Heros team and never thinks about starcraft again.
