Can anyone link that drawing of idra where he guides some kid playing sc2 and telling him how bad the opponent is. Idra is standing in the fanart next to the kid and both have their hand on the mouse. All that while the player next to idra is happy as hell and having a big smile on his face.

Dear Greg, I want to let you know that I have been a HUGE fan of you since day 1. By day one I obviously don't mean the start of time, nor since you became a progamer; I have been a fan of you since I first found out about you. In part because you remind me so much of my brother whom I rarely talk to since he has moved out and in part because what you said just made sense. Whether you were arguing a common belief in starcraft or bming someone for cheesing I could always relate to what you were saying and it just seemed right. After about a year of following you, I was probably about 16 at the time I wrote a letter to you and I'm 18 now, 19 in November. Anyway, I planned to send it to the P.O. box of the EG Lair, but I never got around to actually sending it out. I still carry around that letter in my wallet behind my license and since there is no longer a P.O. box where I can send it to you, I will type the text form of it here. Please excuse how poorly written it is, because it is god awful (it was written in pencil and it had been folded up in my wallet for 2 years or so and the pencil marks have started to fade) :
" Dear Greg, I love you, not only as a gamer, but as a person; which is why this letter is for Greg and not EGIdrARC. I have convinced myself I have watched ever interview that has you in it so I could better see your view on things. I watch tournaments just to see you play. It hurt me to see you lose to moon in your last tournament run especially since you have been working on your ZvZ. I saw how frustrated you looked and heading into your game vs puma I get really sad when I see you sad. Your work ethic pushes me to play longer and smarter. Only being 16 years of age with only a couple months playing starcraft 2 I think it would be impossible for me to want to be a pro gamer and unfair for me to think that. I do play a ton of sc2, I already have over 1000 1v1 games played for this season alone. You are my inspiration and my dream is to play against you or along side you. I hope to one day have a conversation with you. I am sorry for taking up your time to read this. I hope to see you at the next MLG Arena. Questions - 1. Who is or was your role model? 2. Man, it's been a long time since I've been in this fanclub.

I've been watching his old games and such for nostalgia's sake. I miss the guy a lot. T.T

Out of those videos, there was one that I watched maybe a year or so ago that had Greg in it. I can't find it anywhere but it was at one of the IPL's (I believe) and there was one part that really stood out. Essentially, Greg had lost a close series and, after walking out of the booth towards Cody and Alex, he said that he was probably going to retire.

I'm honestly not sure where that video is but it had a shitload of good content and I wanna watch it again for the feels. You all used to be pretty damn good at scavenger hunts. Think you can help me find this video?

I miss you Greg <3 Commentate some SC2 sometime. Maybe?

I don't -think- so. I remember watching something that was familiar to it and, coincidentally, I watched it just the other day. Sadly that wasn't it. Maybe I'll re-watch and check it out. That was maybe about the MLG circuit and less about IPL, though.
