Idra essentially doesn't try to play nice with douchebags who when they finally get the public eye, pussy out and try to be all nice and shit and then dumb people think idra is the bad guy.
This is an excellent point. Idra doesn't shit on respectable people who demonstrate clear game knowledge and play in a 'respectable' manner. If Idra properly hates someone (cruncher, avilo) then there is clearly something those people do that piss people off. This is not the same as being bm because Idra BMs nearly everyone, but he will always be friendly with people like Destiny, Catz, qxc... regardless of skill.
Also, I can't believe reddit thinks Idra speaking of Marineking is something to cry over. True, he doesn't respect the way he plays, but for sure he respects the macro and micro and general mechanics of MKP. He even gg'd to him on the NA ladder when MKP was warming up for MLG.

So I just watched SotG, and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But maybe thats because I still hate avilo for playing that turtle nuke style a while back that ruined everyones stream watching experience. Also the mutalisk for idra video is also very cute, wish I had sent something now.

Wait, so, what's the big deal with this SotG controversy? IdrA was correct & it seemed like Avilo was simply crying imbalance.
The Queens in no way give a free pass to Hive Tech and cries of imbalance always happen after any race gets buffed, regardless of what the changes happen to be.

It's just the manner in which they did it. IDK, this should just blow over in a day.

There may be an imbalance against the Terrans in the mid and late game. I don't know for sure if there is or not and neither does anyone else.
The thing is that the numerous, countless, cheesy early rushes that Terran has always had available screwed any matchup results. When those abusive things are removed, it will be easier for Blizzard to look at the Terran matchups and then decide if there really is an imbalance and how they should adress it.
This is the reason why we only see small, minor changes in the patches recently -- the game has actually working decently for a while. The things that have been fixed were relatively minor imbalances: Immortals range buffed vs the 1-1-1, Ghost snipe nerfed vs lategame Zerg, 4 hellions guaranteeing a free ride to three OCs + 2 engi bays vs early game Zerg, etc. It only remains to fix the Archon toilet vs Zerg, and hopefully they will do that before HoTS release.
