http://www.allkpop.com/2010/12/snsds-jessica-rumor-denied-by-sme-sports-chosun-writer-blames-allkpop If you don't know what all this commotion is about, check this first: http://www.allkpop.com/2010/12/was-snsds-jessica-inappropriately-touched-by-a-man If you take a peek at the discussion of the article about the rumours before the truth came out, you'll notice that everyone there is ranting threats and accusation of molestation (they're sones ofc). Also, as well as people there posting like a douchebag, the site allkpop made a whole fuss about this by making an article about a rumour that was as valid as any person's imagination. And i also took a peek at the discussion of the article about the rumours being nullified ( yes, i can't believe i'd stoop this low). I only read a couple of it but apparently sones are defending accusations of allkpop's supposedly wrongdoings (they obviously don't have any decency whatsoever). I was expecting the article to show what really happened and such but the article went completely off-topic in that regards and it was just some really lengthy article about how allkpop is innocent of said accusations (kinda unprofessional). Anyway, i only use allkpop because thats the only source i know that provides kpop news in english. I could turn a blind eye for this but its obvious that shit like this happens because of sones. And we all know sones make up the majority among the kpop fans and allkpop wants as much readers as possible, like any other company providing media coverage. If anyone knows another site that provides kpop news in english and isn't dominated by sones, please do tell.

EDIT: Sorry that the uploader didn't want his vids to get embedded. Can't seem to find another upload. When I listened to this song for the first time I remembered Tartosis giving korean viewers a quick english lesson about the word "baller". Hook beat reminds me of SHINee - A-Yo which is like one of the best kpop songs imo. Btw, T-ara album is quite good. Never really liked T-ara before, I think Yayaya is somewhat of a good song? I dunno, I can only listen to it when viewing the mv for some reason. Without the mv I actually don't think it's a good song. ( <- does this make sense ) Additional Question: + Show Spoiler + I've got alot of time on my hands between now and 2 weeks, so if someone could pm me with latest good k-drama's they'd be my hero!

And we all know sones make up the majority among the kpop fans and allkpop wants as much readers as possible, like any other company providing media coverage. If anyone knows another site that provides kpop news in english and isn't dominated by sones, please do tell. It's not really that cut and dry. There was a poll somewhat recently asking everyone which female/male group they wanted as the theme for the allkpop layout, and iirc SNSD got somewhere in the range of 25-35 percent, so SONEs don't exactly dominate allkpop as much as you think. And to be perfectly honest, I don't think it would've mattered what girl group it happened to: everyone would've gone equally ballistic. I don't know why you're saying the article didn't show what happened...when it told us that SME reported on the rumor saying that nothing did indeed happened. The person who is really unprofessional is the Sports Chosun writer who attacked allkpop, who in fact, probably makes a living writing gossip for Kpop. Case about the pot calling the kettle black. Think about it logically. Allkpop is sent a rumor/speculation/video, and they write one article on it, and then suddenly allkpop is accused of being anti-Korean. It's preposterous to think of when there are news articles in Korea of Eunjung wearing a thong in a dance video. Isn't THAT more damaging to a group than someone (Jessica in this case) being victimized? But no, there's this huge double standard in which only Koreans can report on Kpop idols, and anything done by foreign gossip circles is deemed as anti-Korean. Part of the kpop culture are the rumors. Think about all of the kpop idols that are constantly linked to each other, and almost always every single one of those rumors are fairy tales. I can't remember how many articles I've seen about the connection between Leeteuk and Taeyeon. So why is it strange at all to see another rumor being reported on? It's just that this time it doesn't come from a Korean source. You also should understand that the vast majority of the allkpop articles are translations of Korean news articles, so really, it doesn't matter whether or not allkpop is dominated by SONEs. Unless, of course, you're reading the comments in which case you shouldn't be taking them so seriously in the first place. It's like going to a Justin Bieber article on Yahoo! and saying that you need another news source that isn't so dominated by 13 year old girls.

Kind of hard to judge because it's not a very instrumental heavy/pop-ish track, so a lot of the focus is probably on the lyrics, but it has a unique feel/instrumental. Glad she doesn't seem to be going the ridiculously cutesy route this time either. Can't wait for the lives since her voice is amazing/is what is going to potentially make the album.

If anyone knows another site that provides kpop news in english and isn't dominated by sones, please do tell. You're not even sure if SME really is speaking the truth. And do you think only sones would react if a k-pop star was (allegedly) molested? This goes way beyond fandom, any decent person would be against that. And you say the article is unprofessional for for showing how AKP is innocent or whatever. Well, the original article from Sports Chosun doesn't even say what really happened and it just became an article about how AKP is anti-hallyu or whatever, which is kind of retarded (and suspicious). This makes you think if SM really is speaking the truth or not. Heck, with that kind of writing from Sports Chosun, you don't even know if SME really did release a statement or not. Plus, the korean article was warped in the first place, it accuses AKP of reporting that the incident really did happen. But the original AKP article only said it might have happened and posted videos telling the viewers too see for themselves. Rumors such as these can easily be negated by official statements explaining what really happened. But this did not happen. What happened was an official statement denying the rumors without further explanation but then proceeds to prosecute the source. If you think logically, you would be on AKP's side on this one. btw, I love IU and her voice, and maybe it's just me but the new title song feels like it's lacking something, not even sure what. Nagging was good, this I don't really like.

Well, actually it's not just us -- they rag on anyone who isn't in Korea, whether they're Korean or not. They're just as guilty of building sensationalist titles as any other news outlet -- and just like here in the US, there's quite a few sites that are just flat-out tabloids, complete with fabrications and frequent libel suits. (See section titled: Rain suing Sports Seoul). With that said, the comments on AKP make me wary of just how watered down the value of IQ100 has become. It really is chilling to think that those people are included in the average that becomes IQ100.
