(And anyways, bitching about a voluntary work? Really?) edit : I forgot about all the adds, my bad! And about my favorite SECRET song, I think it's Shy Boy too. It's damn catchy and Zinger has a nice rap part in it. But really I have almost all the SECRET discography in my folder, I have a hard time finding bad songs from them ^^. Also, they most definitely are not voluntary sub work. They make money off their trash. I like Starlight Moonlight from Secret

(3 years 6 months) + Show Spoiler + They have a few songs that are pretty unremarkable but get a lot better when performed live. Which is a shame because they only performed them once or twice each.. + Show Spoiler +

It would be like you transcribing something I spoke to you. It's really not very difficult for someone with a strong knowledge of the languages. It should take 1 person maybe a little over an hour. And don't give me that shit that they have to come up with perfect translations cause the subs are mediocre at best and barely synced. The only possible delay would be putting the actual subs in the video. Somehow I doubt that is very hard.

It's rarely a word to word translation, and often phrases or sentences convey ideas that barely translate into other languages. Even translating in person is hit-or-miss and often loses half the context in a conversation. So no, you don't just "listen to someone talking and write English". Edit: Not to mention that if you speak 2 languages fluently enough to follow an hour long show and translate perfectly, you probably have a job and aren't doing shit like this in your free time. Subbers are probably like 2 dudes in their basements who learned Korean online.

Somehow I doubt that is very hard. you're talking out of your ass it's an extremely long process. even with a full team I've heard it takes 6 times as long for every hour of content, and that's assuming the team is present and working nonstop. there's translation, timing, spot translation for those random moments they speak other languages/difficult idioms or words, typesetting, editing, and proofreading.

There are translators, timers, editors, and quality control. The team typically is in different timezones and typically are not fluent in both languages, the individuals also typically have real life responsibilities. Don't be such an entitled douchebag.
