Hmmm.... I actually like a lot of cultural stuff from Sout Korea. I'm a huge Fan of Bong Joon-Ho's (The Host, Mother, Memories of Murder, Barking Dogs never bite) and Park-Chan Wook's (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, Thirst) Movies for example and SK-Cinema in general (except comedies... I don't like the obvious "slap-in-your-face-teenager-humor" in South Korean Comedies, but I totally like the more subtle black humor from Bong Joon-Ho for example).
I Of course like the whole progaming-scene and the culture evolving from it, BUT if I totally dislike any cultural aspect of South Korea in the present, it's it's Music. ^^'

I've never actually seen anything but Pop out of Korea, but the Number of Pop-acts for this rather Small country is just HUUUUUGE! I mean; the whole American music-industry doesn't blurp out a new GirlGroup every month, along with 2 Boybands and 12 dudes crying while playing the piano or the guitar...

Yes finally someone who posts more than a one liner and actually entices me to reply. Someone should do some research but I’m thinking its more like barely 18, at least ill keep telling myself that. I really like the combination of sexiness, cuteness and shyness that they are able to exhibit while jumping and squeaking. I dont understand 95% of the lyrics but the 5% that I barely understand always makes me sing along or laugh at. They do blurt out a ton and theres few I could do without, I guess its like TV shows in America just tune in to the once you like. Finally, Kpop artists are somewhat plastic but real people, who dont make that much money, have to train their ass off, get no sleep and still go to school in the morning. Its a lot easier to relate to them then lets say someone like Kanye who orders food from Wales and has it flown to the U.S. for $4000.

We more or less did in the 90s. Our girl/boy band phase has already died out.

There's also the one where you end up sitting next to one a like 14 hour air plane flight and hitting it off.
