Just started a last.fm account since all the cool kids are doing it.

How do i fix my infinite amount of "incorrect" tags? For k-pop I would always label them in a very specific way - "Korean name (English name)"

i.e: 소녀시대 (Girl's Generation)

Which is obviously incorrect tagging for last.fm.

tags are retarded
everyone has a different way of organizing their own library. I label them like yours except without parenthesis because it's easy for me to separate my Korean music from western music, but all the people on last.fm high on OCD will bitch about you tagging your music incorrectly.

you can either retag your entire music library on foobar or whatever music player you use; or you can manually edit them on last.fm, which has the advantage of keeping your own library organization, but you'll also have to manually edit every new scrobble.
or you can give 0 fucks and simply use last.fm to keep track of your change in music tastes over a span of time, which is what I choose to do.

honestly, most people link it to show what their music tastes are like. I don't need a rating meter to tell me how compatible I am with someone else when I can just look at their music history over the last year.
