I agree with what you said above, although if I were in their shoes and I'd still have done the split, you don't get on TV for performances but you're still huge and make bank and aren't required to stay with SM for 13 years (a contract which is both excessive and, contrary to what you seem to imply in your post, is not typical in the industry). But that's irrelevant anyway... I also fail to see how CCM is a "small" agency- as a subsidiary of Mnet I'd argue they're pretty big. It's the parent company and not whatever the subcompany decides to call itself that counts. Also I used KBS as a random name for an example of a TV station/content distributor. Either way the fact that they're government owned (which I was aware of) is irrelevant for the purpose of my example. The whole KBS thing was directed at the dude I was replying to anyway, who implied that the industry as a whole had motivation to cockblock JYJ. Although I can't claim to have "contacts" like you, I don't think the ratio you described is atypical even for Western artists, for album sales at least. (the difference being ofc that western artists get far more of the pie in endorsement deals and shit like that). But that's irrelevant anyway. I'm not going to pretend that any idol company gives you a favorable contract cause they're all terrible. Just that if it were up to me I wouldn't sign with SM. And I still disagree with your blog posts. edit- @new guy/hallowed/purpl3- Not sure I'd want to be the world representative of Kpop anyway. At least foreign kpop, cause everything I've seen of it outside of this thread and like 2 IRL friends foreign kpop is comprised of annoying teenage girls and/or mentally deficient people. @pulse- can't recognize Minah when sh'es not trying to make her eyes look as small as possible, or, as they call it "eyesmiling". Sure, we can stop discussing it if you like. So despite the fact that you took the cheap dig of pretending to be the bigger man in your first line before continuing the discussion by incorrectly pointing out things in my post, I guess I'll stop myself at just clarifying why despite your explanations, I still feel that the posts and edits weren't aimed at Waterhaak but myself: + Show Spoiler + onion is both not very credible and a sm fanboy. + Show Spoiler + Edit- reading 3 of those onion posts just confirmed that he doesn't know what he's talking about. Contradicting facts and actual credible sources, sounds like an idiot. When you launch a personal attack on someone and you get a reply back, don't be surprised. When the reply addresses your points with the view of dismantling them without calling you an idiot who doesn't know what he is talking about, try not to pretend you're the bigger man. I'll save you the trouble of having to read another wordy spiel in response to the individual points you set out by ending the discussion as you want. Since I should be contributing something, SSF will be doing a charity auction of exclusive SNSD merchandise where all proceeds go to KRPS (charity founded by Sooyoung's father). HITSNY are also considering a similar auction (where a part of the proceeds will go to KRPS) with things like the shoes the girls wore during Live with Kelly and their tour jackets which is pretty big in terms of memorabilia since it's stuff they wore during their first wave of activities in the US. Apparently Papa Choi is very grateful for the gesture from SSF and will be posting something soon via the SONE Union channels. All in all, with the records coming out and possible concerts going on, wallets are going to be empty by the time this year is out lol. | ||

Park Sun-Young Hyomin (효민) “Folding Screen” May 30, 1989 Today is a special day, not only is it Hyomin's birthday, but also the day you find out foxu is crazy as the rest of you. I compiled pictures, videos, and gifs of Hyomin throughout the past few years. Some are just performances, but they are always good. Initially I had enough content to make my browser crash when in spoiler brackets and previewing. So, I decided to get rid of a lot of stuff and tone down the crazy. I am highlighting some stuff of Hyomin, a lot of work is through T-ara, but if it wasn't for T-ara, I probably wouldn't know Hyomin in the same way. + Show Spoiler [Content?] + + Show Spoiler [Invincible Youth] + This is where Hyomin became my #1 kpop idol bias or whatever you want to call it. I found her super QT, and interesting. She had to work hard to get airtime and use Sunny to do it usually. I got bored of the show after about 20 episodes and stopped watching. + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gifs] + ![]() ![]() #1 Water Girl ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Breaking Hearts] + Breaking Heart is a repackaging of Absolute First Album by T-ara. It was one of the first kpop albums I bought. I officially owned 3 K Pop albums that day. Songs from here have the most plays on my playlist and ipod for all of my kpop songs. If you have never listened to it, than your missing out. + Show Spoiler [Pics] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Bo Peeps (2009)] + The first T-ara song I ever heard; I assume I am not alone in that. Not too long after SC2 came out, I was watching Bo Peep on youtube when I saw a bunch of comments saying, “Huk sent me here” or “Huk!” So I ended up checking out Huk's stream one day, coincidentally enough Bo Peep was on. I don't watch many SC2 streams anymore, but I remember that moment. + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + + Show Spoiler [Like the First Time (2009)] + This is one of my favorite T-ara songs actually. I think it may be the second music video I seen at the time of T-ara. It's sexy and cute at the same time. I have listened to the break down specifically on repeat. + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + + Show Spoiler [IGCBOY (2010)] + I don't think everyone in KMD likes this song; but these performances... + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gifs] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + To be that chair at :49... + Show Spoiler [Coffee Over Milk] + This was an OST for the show SBS Coffee House. + Show Spoiler [My GF is a Gumiho] + When I first started watching, I didn't know Hyomin was in this. I didn't keep watching for her, I mean, LSG #1. I know why the noonas love him. + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gifs] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Temptastic] + + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gif] + I LOVE Yayaya, come at me bros! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Yayaya (2010)] + You make me go lalala! Hyomin so h-ho-hot! + Show Spoiler [Loly Poly (2011)] + Roly Poly and repeat go together like purpl3 and bm. + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gifs] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Fancams] + + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + + Show Spoiler [MBC Drama Award: Newcome Award (2011)] + Please don't cry HYOMIN! T.T #1 Newcomer. + Show Spoiler [Lovey Dovey (2012)] + There was a week or two where I had Lovey Dovey in Tokyo MV on repeat, on average I would watch it 10 times a day. + Show Spoiler [Pics & Gifs] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Fancam] + + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + + Show Spoiler [WGM] + Hyomin got married in 2012 for the WGM: China special or something. I wasn't happy, but Hyomin was so pretty I got over it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [Roly Poly(Japan) (2012)] + Lalala I like you! Couldn't find full version.... + Show Spoiler [Round & Round (2012)] + Bingeul Bingeul! You don't realize how big KMD is until you have 15k views on your gifs. + Show Spoiler [Gif] + ![]() + Show Spoiler [Live Performances] + + Show Spoiler [Other Stuff] + + Show Spoiler [Favorites AKA Pic Dump] + These are some of my favorite Hyomin photos.
