Ticket is really catchy though, to my ears at least and I like the dance for some reason.

Hi everyone, this post will be adressing a few of the things that were discussed and said concerning me in the last pages...

This post will be long as I feel like I have to respond to multiple things. (And concerning the length of my posts, that is just how I roll, I have a hard time expressing my thoughts the way I want to in a short posts :/)

First and foremost, I would like to say that I'm sorry to anyone who thinks wether I was a direct or indirect cause to this thread "going downhill". It wasn't my intentions. I like this thread a lot and I just wanted to contribute to it qith the only ways that I knew how.

Once I started getting more and more involved in the thread, I was almost unanimously receiving praises and good critics and therefore I thought my posts were pleasing everyone and I kept on going. However, today some made it clear that this wasn't the case and that's totally ok, can"t please everyone. I'm open to criticism, if you think some of the stuff I do needs to go, tell me and I'll listen as I only want the well being of this thread and it's members.

This is what I wanted to learn and what I was hoping to achieve with my festival. (And of course raise awareness for Nicole to be recognized as the legitimate heir's to Hyori's throne

But the festival/backtrack of an idol's career did not catch on at all.

When I first heard KPop while watching Brood War games I thought to myself what the fuck is this sh*t, this can't be true. This led to me questioning myself and being somewhat ashamed. I would use fake name or aliases on KPop fansites so that it wouldn't show up in Google if people searched for my name or something. I was loving the thing and wanted to share my love for it to others but couldn't because I was emabarassed.

Then I saw posters like ArsenalGunner, Moonwrath and Ssul freely expressing their feelings and having fun with it while making nay-sayers look stupid for not having the guts to express their feelings for the things they loved. I wanted to be a part of that and decided that I would start making things that made me happy and not care what others think. I begun posting and today I can affirm that this thread and Nicole had a significant positive impact on my life.

Sorry for the most likely boring story but it was necessary to explain my views and curiousness on fanboyism. I do not think it is a bad thing, at all. Of course I'm not thinking about the recent shit I read on the Saesang fans in Korea...

Roffles, I value your ctitisicm but this is not something that I do. I read every single post in this thread and I join in wether dicussion his happening when I have something to say. I also contribute more than just Nicole, I just posted some Bluedawn a couple pages back and some very nice members contributed an epic collection of "Indy Korean Ballads" stuff as a result. (Just a recent example)

Yes, very much so. I understand people not liking her as much as others or simply not caring for her but why talk shit tho ? I never understood that part, did I ever talk shit about ANY idol ? Regarding what Korean music I listen to I voted for 33:64 in favor of non-idol music as I now mostly listen to Ballads, Hip-Hop and that Indy stuff... My Idol music mostly consisting of KARA, new releases on occasions and old school BEG. And out of KPop I'm still an elitist Hip-Hop head.

TuElite, you're one of my favorite posters on TL. And I don't even like Nicole. But as previously stated, I love your passion and commitment to what you love. I'm also genuinely interested in what you say (generally). Not because I love reading Nicole spazz but because it shows me the thought process behind the madness. And I spazz a lot too so I really like seeing your fanboy-ing and relating to it.

I do agree that the one line "omo noona soo 예뻐" gets old real fast and I'm thankful there's a lot less of that here compared to any other kpop forum I've seen/visited. Hopefully we can use TuElite as a shining example of how to properly express our support for our idols.

Idk, the stories are generally humorous. I really like reading weird fan stories. As long as they are properly prefaced (like your dream.. that one was really o.O) I feel like it's fine. At worst, it's food for thought right?

EDIT:
I think one of the reasons I love this thread is because it's a small, relatively closed community so I can slowly attach a character with people's names. For instance, if unichan and I ever played a LoL game, I would be able to put a rough personality template on her, despite me never having met her. It's by no means 100% accurate but it builds community and it's having a familiar face that makes the online experience more fun.

I don't think you should be blamed as a cause for the recent decrease is post quality. Whether you are completely innocent, I'm not sure but that doesn't really matter. You have your own ways, and there are quite some people who enjoy it. There is always going to be someone that is a little bit more extreme than others. Perhaps some are even more extreme, they just don't express themselves they way you do. That's what I like about you.

Sometimes you do get kind of weird though and perhaps taking a little more time to think about what you will post and how others will react could avoid certain people getting weird-ed out/upset. I hope you keep making those awesome posts that show your dedication for Nicole, even if I personally don't like her.

Lol i find that tuelite posts a broad range from extremely weird dreams to long ass posts, often with pretty sub par pictures. But thats cool, weird shit is always the more entertaining stuff to read, and kpop imo is just about some entertainment when you're bored!

Yeah TuElite your posts are all right in my book. I'm not even a Kara fan, in fact I don't really like them much at all, but I don't mind reading your big Nicole posts. They are interesting, and Nicole ain't half bad. A lot of people might end up liking Nicole more or learning more about her, so I don't think it's a bad thing whatsoever. The dream post was a little weird (ok, a lot weird), but even still, it was hilarious.

Once you guys have been around long enough you'll notice there hasn't been much of a recent decline and more of the standard cyclical nature of the thread.
