...Well, I didn't think I would wake up in the middle of the night to see this.
Hi everyone, this post will be adressing a few of the things that were discussed and said concerning me in the last pages...
This post will be long as I feel like I have to respond to multiple things. (And concerning the length of my posts, that is just how I roll, I have a hard time expressing my thoughts the way I want to in a short posts :/)
First and foremost, I would like to say that I'm sorry to anyone who thinks wether I was a direct or indirect cause to this thread "going downhill". It wasn't my intentions. I like this thread a lot and I just wanted to contribute to it qith the only ways that I knew how.
Once I started getting more and more involved in the thread, I was almost unanimously receiving praises and good critics and therefore I thought my posts were pleasing everyone and I kept on going. However, today some made it clear that this wasn't the case and that's totally ok, can"t please everyone. I'm open to criticism, if you think some of the stuff I do needs to go, tell me and I'll listen as I only want the well being of this thread and it's members.

So when did this thread become an AKP commentary section? I lost track of what page people started to act like the people on AKP...
He demonstrates this through incredibly long and time-consuming posts and projects such as the one on the previous page, and that screencap compilation posted a yesterday/a couple days ago. Now, this is fine. No one can say that any AKP commenter puts this much effort into fanboying/girling as much as TuElite does over Nicole. I can appreciate an effort like this even though I don't share his enthusiasm for Nicole. The problem, I believe, is that some people in the thread have seen TuElite's fanboying and both the attention and reputation that he's gained for it. As such, people have started to imitate him.
Regarding what Dystopia wrote here, when I started getting more involved in the thread, most of what the thread was about was posting pictures and videos and compiling power ranks. I made a conscious effort to change that and promote more organisation and discussion throught the festival thing I did back then. I was genuinely curious about the thread member's love and feelings for their favorite idols as well as the idols themselves so I wanted to find out how exactly did that one idol became your favorite and what does your idol entire carrer's consist of, how did she start off and gain your attention ? This is what I wanted to learn and what I was hoping to achieve with my festival. (And of course raise awareness for Nicole to be recognized as the legitimate heir's to Hyori's throne

).
But the festival/backtrack of an idol's career did not catch on at all.

All I'm saying is that posts in that nature have encouraged more straight fanboying in this thread than existed before.
Yes, I think it did. And I wanted to achieve part of that. But I wanted to go deeper, I wanted people to express and explain their fanboyism as I was curious about the whole thing, myself having recently fallen into it at the time. I'm sorry if it ended up being an overall nuissance to the thread.
When I first heard KPop while watching Brood War games I thought to myself what the fuck is this sh*t, this can't be true. You see my name, TuElite, is not a coincidence, I used to and still somewhat do have very elitists thoughts on a lot of subjects. Music was one of them. If an asrtist couldn't be incredible mystical magical super lyrical I would immediately disregard him and his craft. Being exposed to more and more KPop throught Starcraft changed this. The excitement of witnessing two Bonjwa collide in an OSL finals made the KPop pre-game show that much more enjoyable and with time I learned to appreciate KPop and eventually totally fall for Nicole.
This led to me questioning myself and being somewhat ashamed. I would use fake name or aliases on KPop fansites so that it wouldn't show up in Google if people searched for my name or something. I was loving the thing and wanted to share my love for it to others but couldn't because I was emabarassed.
Then I saw posters like ArsenalGunner, Moonwrath and Ssul freely expressing their feelings and having fun with it while making nay-sayers look stupid for not having the guts to express their feelings for the things they loved. I wanted to be a part of that and decided that I would start making things that made me happy and not care what others think. I begun posting and today I can affirm that this thread and Nicole had a significant positive impact on my life.
Sorry for the most likely boring story but it was necessary to explain my views and curiousness on fanboyism. I do not think it is a bad thing, at all. Of course I'm not thinking about the recent shit I read on the Saesang fans in Korea...

Fanboying is okay, but to the extent that he ignores every other comment in the thread just to spread his fanboyism is ridiculous at times.
Roffles, I value your ctitisicm but this is not something that I do. I read every single post in this thread and I join in wether dicussion his happening when I have something to say. I also contribute more than just Nicole, I just posted some Bluedawn a couple pages back and some very nice members contributed an epic collection of "Indy Korean Ballads" stuff as a result. (Just a recent example)

Your definition of fanboy means that they must've already lost their mind, and they need medicine, but that's not the definition most use.
Mmhh pills... Which would you recommend for me ?

Couldn't it also be that since he is such a rabid fanboy, he must put his 110% into making his posts or he would feel like he failed Nicole or something?
lol. Some people really think me crazy around here eh ?

he still gets visibly sphincter bothered when you try and talk shit about Nicole, hence the fanboy portion.
Yes, very much so. I understand people not liking her as much as others or simply not caring for her but why talk shit tho ? I never understood that part, did I ever talk shit about ANY idol ? No, never and I don't understand people who do so. There's imo no reason to do so other than pure evil, no good results out of it.

Meh. Thread is mostly fine.
-Dial down sharing stories where you sound like a stalker. Tuelite would be fine if he would just tone it down a bit and act like a normal human being instead of someone who is rifling through Nicole's trash.
Good criticism, I can use this! I obviously try to entertain with some of my posts by putting emphasis on stuff but toning it down might be a good idea, especially if some are now starting to think that I need medicine and that I need to withstand a certain standard as to please Nicole ROFL.
But at the same time I don't think I know what is a normal human being. Do normal human beings
+ Show Spoiler [18+ story warning] +Have casual sex with an ordinary white girl more on the chubby side of things and think about their bias upon and in order to reach climax ?
How am I suppose to know if I don't ask lol ? I'm sure as hell not going to ask my IRL friends.
That being said, Method, bring me some pilllllllllsssssssssssss
Ok, I think I have adresses pretty much everything. Once again I'm sorry for having caused this apparent problem and discussion and I will try to do better in the future.
Regarding what Korean music I listen to I voted for 33:64 in favor of non-idol music as I now mostly listen to Ballads, Hip-Hop and that Indy stuff... My Idol music mostly consisting of KARA, new releases on occasions and old school BEG. And out of KPop I'm still an elitist Hip-Hop head.

lol I don't know what's funnier, that you never read my previous posts because they had too many words in them or that you chose to read that one and think me weird for that one post. hahaha. Oh and I don't think teaching you my ways would be a great idea, as you can see, it's not without some backlash and criticism.
