i watched a bunch of snsd videos of them in variety shows, interviews and stuff and i dunno... she stood out with her childish/dorky personality and that's how i became so fond of her. AND PLUS SHE'S SO QT. :3
what is up with that word "dork" do you guys like girls who are "dorks" or just idols who are "dorks" what exactly makes one a "dork" what qualities does a "dorky" person possess that makes you prefer them over a non "dorky" person

I'm going to take a stab at this since this is what I feel people mean when they say that. Being dorky is doing something childish or stupid, something you think a celebrity wouldn't do, and because she's so cute/hot, you overlook how irritating it can get and end up liking her more. It's probably only effective if an attractive person acts dorky; you wouldn't want an ugly person acting dorky on you.
Its like the geek effect. You wouldn't want an ugly, geek girl as your girlfriend, but if suddenly Min tweets that she plays video games and enjoys playing them, she just gets upped in everyone's book of girl ranks. The fact that she's attractive helps immensely.

As a Sone and Taeyeon fan, I second this. I've always been confused as to the use of "dork" describing Taeyeon. And no one else. It's not like people go around spazzing about their favorite idol calling them a dork. To me, dork is like that white kid in my 4th grade computer skills class who wore round rim glasses and typed the fastest. Taeyeon is female, korean, and a singer. /confusion
Being more interesting than someone who is "normal" would be my guess. I like Kooky girls. I would probably pick Taeyeon as my fave from snsd for that reason, not because I necessarily think she is the best looking (she sings well too, which is always a bonus for a singer).
Not particularly a fan of the group tbh, so maybe my opinion doesn't count.

someone who does things that are kinda silly and not neccessarily cool but always cute ^ i found this definition online and its the most accurate to what i meant by dork
i think goofball is more appropriate but ive seen so many people use dork instead that it became a habit for me to describe taeng as a dork

This is true, and it makes your continued activism all the more impressive considering most people disappear after having this realization.

Came across this on youtube. Can she get any cuter?
Somehow came across IU too. Random thought I just had. Picking 2 random letters of the alphabet for your stage name reminds me of that corny ass pickup line. If I could rearrange the alphabet I would put U and I together lol.
Infinite teaser. I don't think it was posted yet? I really liked watching them live, even thought I know very little about them. Hoping this comeback is epic so I can become a fan. Not enough guy groups in my kpop repertoire...
Since this thread is filled with female kpop groups (not complainin), not sure if people listen to guy groups much as well. But if anyone knows of EXO(K/M), they released another 'prologue' single today, not official debut song yet, but it's pretty good. I like it anyway.
