contribooting even though i only recently started watching K-Dramas, watched 49 days, paradise ranch and secret garden. I'd skip the latter if i were you, really annoying characters.
For variety shows you might want to check out Running man, its pretty fun.
For dramas I liked My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and Playful Kiss. I am about 3/4 of the way through 49 Days and it's pretty good so far. I didn't care for Secret Garden or Pasta.
Seconding Running Man for a good variety show. Isubs provides high quality subs for them. Also if you haven't watched Invincible Youth that was good too, but I assume you have since you are already watching WGM for the most boring couple ever, lol.

Depends what you are looking for , melodramas, dramas with humor, action dramas
Action drama's you should watch IRIS and Athena ofcourse.

Athena (Dat Ji ah) My Princess (Dat Kim Tae Hee IRIS(again Kim Tae Hee) God of Study is decent, its a bit made for like 10-16 audiences but it has PARK JIYEON SO ITS AUTOMATIC WIN My girlfriend is a gumiho is oke, it has Shin Min ah with a lil Hyomin on the side. Romance town is one running right now, its oke-ish Coffee house (with Eunjung). Uh if you have a soshified account with +50 posts(or know someone, or have other methods of getting subs) I suppose you can watch You My Destiny(With Yoona) Same with Cinderella Man Secret Garden ofcourse (With Yoo In Na) Boys over Flowers
And City Hunter ofcourse(but I think you get that by now), which you atleast should watch based solely upon Park Min Young alone.
All I could think off right now, I haven't really watched alot though so perhaps other people can give better advice

Youve fallen for me is now also running(als known as Heartstrings) which is sort of decent from what I have seen so far.
City Hunter has been quite amazing thus far. I feel that if it keeps this up, it'll be my favorite drama up to this point. It has a very Batman-esque feel to it, at least from a kdrama perspective. Definitely give it a shot.

Yeah Running man is pretty good. I'm also watching Heroes, but purely for PJY/IU so if you're not a fan I'd avoid, not really notable otherwise, and the subbing team is slow as fuck.
edit- while listening to Roly Poly just now I'm reminded of how much I fucking hate Hwayoung, not just cause she's a troll but also cause they gave her all the rap parts, which are all in english, and her english is the shittiest out of all of the idols I've heard, ever. It's not her fault that the rap in Roly Poly is both nonsensical and out of place, and I'd be willing to give her a pass on this one, but it was horrible in "why are you being like this" as well, where the rap fit in better (for a kpop song). Apparently CCM only put her in cause rest of T-ara's getting old for a girl group and he wants them to seem "young", which is the dumbest reason for inserting a member ever. Wish they'd give her the boot even though that won't happen.
edit2- Bubble pop is really growing on me. It's a dumb song, and if it was an american artist I'd hate it, but from kpop it's just what I want.

isn't Athena just a spin-off of IRIS.. I think IRIS S2 is airing late Q3 or Q4 this year :O
And yeah you are right Athena was not as good as IRIS sadly..

Agreed, the whole cast for Invincible Youth is awesome. This is how I became a fan of Hyomin, she is freaking hilarious.

IY is pretty good till a little before end of season 1, which is like 30ish episodes? SSF had good subs for it.
