Mayoiga is definitely on track to become a trainwreck like Another. All the hallmarks are there.

This is A-1's other low budget cash cow adaptation of the season alongside FFXV. I don't expect much.
It's a bit hard for crunchy to translate Naruhodo Ryuichi as Phoenix Wright when you can hear the characters call each other by name. Anyone unfamiliar with the series is going to be confused if you use localized names. And how far do you take the localization anyways? Hamburgers and Los Angeles...

the whole damn way, seriously, there has to be one sub group that caters to the fans of the series that'll do it.

Can't believe that was the last world trigger episode!  Seems like they eluded that they'll be more?
On the bright side, glad that both Gakusen and Ushio to Tora are back. Excited to see what they have in store for us :D

Eh, just look at the size of the cast. There's what, 20+ characters? At least half to three-quarters of them are going to die just because they won't be developed and are thus irrelevant to the story. And we know how well that worked in Another...
Watched the raw of Aria OVA 2 for the hell of it. They went in hard on the nostalgia. I'd say it was pretty effective too.

Mayoiga certainly didn't impress me at all. But at least Ushio to Tora was good, they didn't waste any time on doing a summary or something. Asterisk was fine too.

Ushio to Tora was decent overall though in the beginning I cringed so hard it hurt.
//Dropped Dimension W (3eps) and Ajin (6eps) now. I won't kid myself any longer and tell myself to finish them. Especially Ajin, which I thought was complete garbage.

Boku no hero academia's first episode wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. It's a bit weird honestly, mostly when a shounen airs its first episode you'll typically get a full introduction resolved in 1 episode and the plot is basically rolling at the end of the first episode, but this first episode felt like part 1 of a 2 part introduction to the series, so i'll reserve any real judgment of the series until ep 2 i think.

It just came back as well! I thought the huge filler arc was meant to buy them enough time to get more eps in. Such a shame since it was getting pretty interesting.

Crunchyroll has 2 US English sub tracks, one has the names as they are, the other has the localized names. Not sure if any others do the same thing, though.
